has anyone heard of books offering reduced juice on large wagers only?

what do you think of this concept? offer -105 on all wagers that are risking a certain minimum $.

would this work for a very small book?

Any book that offers -105 is not maximizing its profits...especially in a small book.....small books would go under letting players lay -105....

What jw said is pretty accurate i think. If you tell somebody smart that they can lay 05 if they bet higher their mouth will start to water.

you need huge volum to give reduced juice, if you do this you would get one sided and in need of loans for payments later.......

you guys didn't ask, but 5dimes has reduced juice for football and basketball, -105 no matter how much the wager is....they also have reduced juice for baseball and hockey, but obviously not the -105, just better than most
