If they do it tonight, it will be their offense. LaRussa didn't sound too convincing during the post game speech last night, but I think the Cards bats come out to play tonight.
Rolen has been horrible this WS. Also Marquis is inexperienced and I feel will really feel the pressure tonight. The Cards pitching overall is not overpowering and the Bosox and eating them up. No starter has gone past 41/3 inning during the first 3 games and it's killing their bullpen.
Bosox on the other had have an experienced pitcher in Derrick Lowe and a well rested bullpen. Not to mention all the confidence in the world as well as the right attitude and approach to each game. They are also catching all the breaks with the tremendous momentum they possess. All of these factors will be tough for STL to overcome.
Woody Williams may pitch tonight so that may help STL, but he's going on 3 days rest after getting bitchslapped in Game 1.
I'm from Louisiana, but I've always pulled for all of
the New England Teams. I've got a couple of friends of mine that I used to work with that are brothers and Season Ticket Holders to the Pats. They are 2 of the funniest people I've ever talked to (Classic Boston Accent and all) and I know they've got to be going nuts with the Pats 21 game Winning streak and the Sox 7 game winning streak. It's got to be fun to be from N.E. these days.
