The Washington Redskins have signed tight end Jordan Reed to a multiyear extension, the team announced Thursday.
A source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the extension is for five years and is worth $50 million, including $22 million guaranteed.
The new deal keeps Reed with the Redskins through the 2021 season.
Reed caught 87 passes for 952 yards and 11 touchdowns last season. The third-round pick in the 2013 draft has 182 career receptions for 1,916 yards and 14 touchdowns for the Redskins.
