Actually, it wasn't a bad play by Nix, ball was hit to deep center. To be honest, Nix has enough speed. Took a perfect throw. Also, would have ensured no DP chances. Yes it hurt on the scoreboard, but if he makes it, you guys are yelling what a brillant move.
