Under 58 -130 Kent State for 2 Units
Kent State has played 8 games and has not scored more than 17 points in 7 of 8 games, has not scored more than 14 points in 6 of 8 games. They are playing at Home and their team was in a situation where you decide your best chance to win and put your playmakers there.....that was Defense. They are 42 against the Pass so Toledo will probably have a lot of running mixed into their Offense. Kent has only had 1 game all season go over 58 total points and that was a lopsided 66-0 game against Ohio State. Toledo not very good statistically but has played 4 Top 50 Offenses. They could try to pour it on but I suspect they would rather grind it out, get out of town and look to next week where they play 6-2 Northern Illinois.
Always a gamble in the MAC.....but even if Kent gets their 17, that leaves 41 and Toledo has only scored more than 42 once all season, and that was in Game 1 with Phillip Ely at QB.
