I see Ariz struggling to adjust to SD St for 1st 8 to 12 mins and then dominating...I have a large play on over 120 in Ariz/Sd ST B 1.5 pts and i teased Ariz to - 0.5 with over 113.5 with Und 145.5 in Fla/UCLA gm ...3 Team 8 PT Tease...
you could tease SD ST to +16 with ___ and ___ damn that sounds good also...

Red Elephant,

I have watched many MWC games this year and in particular I mhave followed SDSU al year and watche d at least 10 of their games.
I beleive that the line will continue to bounce around 7.5 to 8 throughout the day until tip off.

First off I am not betting this game. I want SDSU to win it. I will just nwatch and enjoy.

Now, having watched SDSU so much there are too many reasons offensively I am staying away from this game.
SDSU has struggled throughout the year to score the basketball. here are teh variables.

If Xavier Thames gets into foul trouble early on....SDSU is in big trouble.
If Xavier Thames has a bad or even mediocre game.....SDSU is in big trouble.

SDSU's front line of Josh Davis, JJ o'brien and Skylar Spence are all defemse minded specialist for mteh most part and cannot generate offense on their own. they tend to score the basketball by "put backs" offensive rebounds and "junk type' garbagge type offensive
scores.

They are tremendously athletic and have length and defend extremly well but mteh lack of offensive fre power concerns me........ so much so that I will not bet this game.

They have two bench role players that come in with offensive fire power in Aqueel Quinn and 3 point shootinmg specilaist freshman Matt Shirgley. They tend to be either really outstanding or they are cold and their shots are misses which translets to lots of long bounces and one and done possesions.

Dwanye Polee II is a reserve point who can play the 1 or 2 and help rest Xavier thames for short periods.

Red Elephant I just have to many questions on the offensive side of teh ball to wager on SDSU because if any thing goes wrong or bad offensively the Aztecs will nto be able to score enough to win or cover.

Just to many "IF'S" with this team offensively for me to make a play on them.

Now having said that, can they win..... of course they can, they have beaten a lot of quality teams this year. Kansas at Kansas
Creighton at a neutral site. Marquette and New Mexico at home. So they can flat out play and compete and have excellent coaching.

We all know about Arizona, so for me I will only watch and enjoy. GLTU today.

hilltop,

I know what you are saying, and I think there is such a possibility where Arizona could run away with it, but I think two things sway in San Diego State's favor. #1, the tough games with New Mexico win or lose somewhat prepare SD Defense for what they will see against Arizona. New Mexico has two really big and fast guys, one of which was as hot as any player in the nation, and when Bairstow finally had a bad game in the Tourney, they lost. SD State got a taste of losing against New Mexico when they lost, but it also gave them a taste of what it takes to win at Home, they were down badly and the team roared back and controlled the 2nd half. I think they needed those experiences and got them. The 2nd thing is they will not walk onto the court and wonder what it takes to win......they will not be intimidated, they have already played them, and don't have to deal with Ashley. They have film to prepare for this team and I will take Defense over Offense in that situation all day long with 9 points. I disagree with Thames......we need one other guy from San Diego State to step up offensively to relieve some pressure. That can happen on any given night. I can't wait for this game.

Wagering on SD st Overs can be VERY painful. Better root for OT :)

Red,
Good Luck on the play and thanks for the Sienna tip.

The Over is Baylor. I've got it at`137 and its presently at 136 for no reason whatsoever with regards to money. I've got SD St +9.
