As just a casual fan, Im rooting hard for The Rays to make it over the Red Sox. Never thought fans could be more annoying than yanks fans but Sox fans in this area have replaced them. Couldn't be happier to see them lose to the orioles

SheBar and I attended a Rays game in 2008 vs WhiteSox and had the pleasure of sitting directly in front of "SoxFan" and "YankeeFan", who had come to the game together with their ladies/wives.

Now Rays were playing great, but it was still well before anyone was taking them seriously.

But Yankees had an awful start to 2008, so SoxFan starts ranking on YankFan about it.

And then YankFan starts in with the "30 World Series!!" and SoxFan retorts with "Greatest Collapse in History! (yanks blowing the 3-0 lead in 2004 playoffs)....and oh man.......

It went on for like an hour before we relocated our seats

Bottom line....SoxFan has reason to be very proud of 2004 and 2007.

But that is pretty much it for the last 93 years

Hughes is the shittiest 18 game winner I can ever remember, not arguing, just saying......hell Scott Freaking Feldman won 17 games 2 years ago for Texas.....pitcher win/loss column could very well be the most overrated stat in all of sports, especially for gamblers who look at that stat

pretty much down to Rays going 5-2 while Sox go 2-4 for a one game playoff

rough going vs Yankees....thru last nite Rays allow avg of just 3.9 to NYY all season, but still down in games
