Any of the following in the Austin area:

Rudy's
Salt Lick
Black's BBQ - Lockhart
County Line
Cooper's BBQ - Llano
Kreuz's - Lockhart

I've eaten at Rudy's and County Line, both very good. I've eaten at Cooper's in Llano and Ft. Worth and the Llano location blows away the new Ft. Worth location. Cooper's in Llano is my favorite BBQ

Where in Texas are you?

I like Cooper's in Llano, but the last time I went there, the brisket was too fatty for my liking... Their cobblers are incredible too.

Just west of Ft. Worth. I talked to you awhile back before I went to Hyatt Hill Country in san antonio. BTW, Hyatt was nice but La Cantera was much better. I'm a rib eater when I go for BBQ. I've been to Llano location twice, had ribs both times they were excellent. The Coopers in ft. Worth is hit or miss.
