IN: Johnny Damon will be available this series against the Yankees although Gabe Kapler will make the start on Wednesday.
Aquired Boston starter, Jeff Suppan, who was left off the Oakland series roster, will be on this one.
Also, reliever Todd Jones is available for the BoSox in this series.
OUT: Sox submarine closer "BK" Kim is left off the roster for the series against the Yankees.
Also left behind is utility fielder Adrian Brown.

I am a little worried with Todd Jones as the closer. I remember him when he played with the Astros and he sucked.

Things that I have read of late would have Williamson assuming the role.

williamson/timlin or Embree could close games. Jones will be someone to set up one of these guys. He is just an added arm. I think he on't pitch when they are winning.

question I am Homer on this but no way Jones will be in 2-3-4 games to lose to the yanks. Timlin, Williamson, Embree, and if available Lowe or wakefield will close before him. ONly way he will have a chance to lose games is if everyone else is already used. It sounds like you love the yanks, so I wouldn't pound the Sox here. Nelson, Osuna, Weaver, Jose C. don't scare anyone either to set up Mo and Boston has always hit Mo. Yanks have the better pen, but not by much.
