Notice the correlation between 12 game winnin streak and 16 errorless games?
Defense is so underated it unbeliveable.
That was one of the best games of the year and was a joy to watch.
I like this team a lot better than the 03-04 teams...very proffesional....and you know what? Manny wants to stay> They are going to be talking contract extension...accordign to beat writer Steve Buckley,

Anybody that has known me over the many years knows that I have always stated defense in baseball to be HIGHLY UNDERRATED.
I remember saying this statement almost everyday during the 1987 season and watching the large majority of Minnesota Twins games(who I had a huge future ticket on).
GAGNE and KIRBY were awesome up the middle defensively.........and GLADDEN, HRBEK, and GIATTI were also strong on defense...........BRUNANSKY no slouth in RF.

Have to kind of agree, I like 5 team but he really does get a bit out of hand with bumping irrelevant threads from long ago, the happy birthday stuff to long retired somewhat insignificant and unremarkable players, c'mon who cares?
I have no problem bringing back an old thread if there is something relevant to add to it instead of starting a new thread, but this guy goes as far as creating one post ghosts to bump threads and get some pervise pleasure if he can cause a bit of turmoil intentionally between guys like Hot Pizza and Stinky over years old stuff. The act as become stale, I should and will start a thread about that !
