Hey There Fishhead,

I'm with you on this. I've always had a spot for the Red Sox in my heart. When Jimmy Williams left Atlanta and became there manager I started following them. The seats on top of the Green Monster was a killer addition.

Its all about run production and pitching in the post season. I've been a Braves fan since day one(40 years ago) but I just don't see the bull pen being up to the job. Starters are OK, they need to drop Ramirez IMO and replace him with a decent lefty. But I'm not gettin started on this rant.

I Like the Rsox and Bravos but IMO want see either in the World Series.

Get in the Free BB playoff conteset sponsored by Gamblers Avenue; look for it as a thread tomorrow afternoon.

Will this be the year the Bambino curse finally comes to an end? I'd love to see the Bosox take it this year.

That damn Bambino, he must've been really pissed when they traded him. I think he really meant it when he gave that curse right after he was traded.

Who could've said that after all these years that the Bambino would be right up till now and no world series yet for Boston. WOW!!!

SICK- Die-hard Red Sox fan here, but to answer your question, NO!

I have come to believe in the curse. Been a fan since I was 7 years old which translates to 36 years of this pain.

Actually, a simple equation this year.

C + K + BE = H

Curse + Kym + Big Expectaion = HEARTBREAK

Boston will be a tough out and if Pedro is on like usual they might take it all.

Fish your bashing of Kim is getting a little old, if you are such a fan, why don't you start supporting the club.

Because I am taking a different approach after 36 years of this heartache. You know damn well this kid is garbage.

I am a BlueJay fan. When we lost Pat Gillick & Bobby Cox & Jimmy Williams an era ended. Jays have never been the same. Boston/Atlanta enjoyed what we had. We have exciting hitters but we need help!

I think he is solid pitcher, I honestly do. And he looked pretty sharp this series. Although I will be a little nervous in the 9th when we are facing the Yanks in the ALCS in a close one.

He is the BoSox best option though, I am A LOT more worried about the set up men, plus Williamson is off his game as I guess his wife is very sick.

It will be interesting to see how they work the starting rotation though, I thought Burkett might have pitched his way out of the rotation 2 nights ago, but there is a lot of talk here that they are going to go with.

Game 1 Pedro
GAme 2 Wake
Game 3 DLowe
Game 4 Burkett
Game 5 Pedro

Because they want DLowe to pitch at home. I would much rather see them go DLowe and Pedro the first two, and then if we are down use the three man rotation.

I am not too worried about Oakland are you?? On the other hand I think the Yanks will have their hands full with the Twins.

2times- Nice write-up. You got my juices flowing now. Hopefully this will be a fun postseason for us. Sorry though, I am scared *hitless.
