I did not post yesterday because my Texas line was ridiculous. For me it went all the way to 5.5 and I bought it to 6. By game time the line had fallen to 3.5. After starting in the hole 6.3 units I wake up this morning down $5. I've always thought Totals were my forte and I lost 3 this weekend. I hit every straight team bet Saturday and Sunday and hit both Teasers. I just needed one Total to come through and had a great shot in the Georgia game just fell short.

I switched books not by choice but because I had won too much and find that I don't have access to NASCAR match-ups with the new book. I picked my Top 4 Drivers in the XFINITY race and they finished 1,2,3, and 4. Between enjoying the 1st College Football Saturday, betting too may plays this weekend and being pissed about NASCAR I'm lucky I didn't lose my ass. I've got to figure out a way to get my match-ups back.

In the mean time, I will slow down and get mentally back in stride only posting what I feel are strong picks. I've got a do over and need to take advantage of it. I'm looking over today's game and will post if I see something.

And as for Bama.......cheersgifYou can't win if you can't Score.

I don't know about you Red, but Hurts made an impression with me (disclosure: had Bama ATS and Bama teased with Clemson). Granted, USC defense was as weak as promised by some, but that was a serious beatdown. And after watching most of the SEC team's games this weekend, I don't see anyone able to survive that Bama D. A resounding "LSWhoooooooooo" here my good friend, Roll Tide!

No the real issue here is when you're dealing with a local that bounces lines as he pleases, especially with SEC Schools I end up with ridiculous lines at times and if I post them here I get bashed by people who can't get the line I get at any Book. So really its a double edged sword. Post it, it wins and I get criticized on a line that is real to me or don't post it. I think the rule here is post a line that anyone one can get at the time of the post. And I understand that......there was no way I was going to post Texas +6, but I got it.

RE, since you are a NASCAR guy what do you make of this game coming up a Bristol Motor Speedway between Tenn & Va Tech.? What are they just gonna turn the infield into a football field or something? Any idea what the fan turnout is gonna be like, Tenn fans strike me more as the NASCAR types than Va Tech so there might be a slight home field for Rocky Top?

He moves Bama , Auburn weekly and most other SEC teams since 90% bet on them . I will if he layslays a bad one .

There will be a HUGE Home Field Advantage for Tennessee. The place is humongous.....it's going to be a strange environment. There huge gaps in the infield with Tents and such set up to fill in I think to serve as locker rooms. It will be interesting to see how many show up. There is a lot of attention, but I'm not sure VT is supporting their new Coach and Tennessee didn't even fill up their own stadium. Place sits 160,000. Here's a decent link.

Yeah I've had locals like that , it's great to have as an extra book but can handcuff you if it's the only book.

Have to give Tenn at least a couple points for the venue imo. Although not Fuente's first rodeo, it is somewhat of an awkward first road trip for the new Va Tech coach. I kind of swore of betting on Butch Jones after the numerous debacles last season, they sure didn't look good against Appy St. but maybe were looking forward to this game?

So I'll toss a few stats out there.

Under this weekend is 28-11
Ole Miss in its last 28 games are 22-6 Under
FSU in its last 18 games is 18-10 Under
Combined last 28 games is 40-16

I look for FSU to slowly release the reins to the Frosh QB and run heavily in the 1st half. FSU is a little soft on OL due to injuries and Ole Miss replaces 3 starters on OL. Not sure the Ole Miss run game scares FSU so they can focus on the Pass.

Under 28.5 1st half for 2 Units
Under 32.5 Team Total FSU for 3 Units

This week I had to make it about me. Relax and focus, didn't want to drag anyone down if it didn't work. Woke up to a great week. I'm not sure when I will post again, might even disappear from here for awhile.....something just does not feel right regardless. But if I do, I just wanted you to know I have my confidence back.
