Why? Georgia Tech lost 4 starters from the DL due to graduation, including an AA and two ACC conference players. GT had to use most of their schollies to recruit players to out score opponents in the option on Offense.....players suited for it rather than trying to take exisitng players and make them into option people. This Defense gave up 20 or more last year to 7 of 11 opponents. Derrick Morgan was the only front line player that impressed last week against lowly Jax St, who scored 17 by the way.
Clemson on the other hand played Mid TN St, a team who had 10 starters back on Offense and played competitively last year with Kentucky, Maryland, Miss St, FAU, and Louisville. Clemson has the best OL they've had in 3 years. They should be able to expose the GT DL, and score 7's and not 3's. Clemson will have an aggressive front line and GT had a multitude of turnovers and mistakes last week. Do it again and Clemson will capitalize on short field situations. Its also a revenge situation and you know Clemson has prepared all Summer for this one.
Should be fun!
