This post of yours is very meaningful to me ,as right now we are trying to do everything to keep that baby in my wifes stomach for at least another 2 weeks.Two days ago was quite a scare as the doc was almost sure baby was coming out ,the contractions were only 4 minutes apart,I have one girl who is 10 ,and I always told my wife I really don't care whether the baby is a Boy or Girl as long as it is healthy.We are just keeping our fingers crossed,and this stuff I am doing on here has now become a diversion to me just sitting thinking about what will happen to our child,But I beleive with the help of God and prayers from people like you that everything will be fine!

My wife had to go on saline for our first, to keep the contractions down for a few weeks.
Turned out good, except the daughter (now 12) really likes salt LOL.

Thanks alot guys,beleive it or not you guys ar putting a smile on my face,which was hard for me to do for the last few days.Doc said each day the baby does not deliver his lungs will become stronger.

I'm sure that he really wants to meet dady and mommy, but talk to the baby and tell him to wait a little. People don't beleive this a lot, but babies listen and understand.

I spent many a night in the Hospital with my wife having to stop contractions during both of her pregs, both boys turned out fine and had normal deliveries. I assume your wifee is on Terbutaline or some other Tocolytic drugs to stop the contractions if it is early in the pregnancy.Modern Science is wonderful even if they have to deliver early the advancements they have made on taking care of premature babies is unbelieveable. That being said I know it must still be a stressful time.
