There is not a better way to watch 24 then on DVD or Netflix.

I watched a few seasons week for week and it was hard because at the end of each show there would be a ridiculous cliff hanger that I would have to wait an entire week to see how it went.

With DVD or netflix all you have to do is press play.

DVD/Netflix is THE way to watch 24.

I would have loved to have been able to watch 24 season 1 to 8 anytime I want without having to wait.

Just watch the first few episodes of season 1 ZIP and I promise you will come back and tell us its the best show you ever saw.

Another great thing about 24.

All 8 seasons are great except for season 6.

Most shows that go 8 years have 2 or 3 bad seasons you have to get through.

24 was great from beginning to end.

Only season I dont give 4 stars to would be season 6, and even season 6 was not awful.

And another great thing is 24 is coming back this fall for season 9 after a 2 year vacation.

So this show is still making new shows in the future.

you've sold me. i'm going to watch episode 1 now.

bang out The Killing seasons 1-2 on netflix...season 3 playing now

if you need old school then
1) Deadwood
2) The Wire

if only current then The Killing, Mad Men would be top 2...maybe Walking Dead

i've heard great things about the wire. i'll look into the killing as well since a few have recommended in this thread.

All the episodes from the amazing SciFi channel series Battlestar Galactica are on NetFlix. You may remember the campy show from the 70's of the same title. It's nothing like it as far as camp goes as the re-imagined series takes itself very seriously. It's a fantastic series, though (MILD SPOILER ALERT) I was disappointed with the ending and a few of the choices the writers made along the way.

I highly recommend it. The visual effects are great, and the acting is fantastic. Edward James Olmos as Adama and Michael Hogan as Colonel Tigh are amazing together.

Comedian Ricky Gervais send his dumb ass friend Karl Pilkington all over the world. I enjoyed it

24 is mediocre. Watch the Wire or even Homicide life on the street. Both top quality. If your looking for comedies-Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Fresh Meat(British), Workaholics
