2 Jets +4.5

The Jets will be starting Michael Vick. He is definitely an upgrade over Geno, and he has gotten 1st team reps this week. The Steelers are coming off huge wins over the Colts and Ravens, this is a probable let down spot for them.

1 Falcons pk

Doug Martin will probably be out again and V Jackson may not play. I think Atlanta rallies around the fact that they are 2 games behind the Saints for 1st place. They have already beaten the Saints once. The way the NFC south has been I don't think they have quit...yet.

? Eagles

I'm waiting to see if this line changes at all. Right now it's at -6. Mark Sanchez is starting, I expect him to play well, Chip Kelly wanted to get him on his team. Chip knows how to make a QB shine. Demeco Ryans out for the season for Philly. Hopefully the Ryans injury coupled with the Fole's injury effects the way the public looks at this game. This line may not move considering everyone knows Cam is struggling.

side note: Ravens were torched by the Steelers offense. They should bounce back against a much inferior Titans O. They are coming off back to back losses and now are 5-4, they are in the most competitive division, so they can't afford to lose many more games and they have a great coach to help them get back on track. I'm going to try and work the Ravens into a parlay or teaser. I'm not sure how, maybe even ats at -9, but I am taking them in some capacity.

I have a feeling the Ravens line is going to start moving in the wrong direction. I'm taking them now. I feel like I'm missing something, for what reasons is anyone taking the Titans?

Love Tennessee this week. Ravens looking towards their bye week. Tons of injuries. Would not be surprised at all if titans find a way to win this

Good point.

They still have a good front 7 that can unsettle a rookie QB. Coming from Pitt from facing Big Ben and those receivers to being at home going against a rookie QB is really favorable for them considering their injuries at the CB position.

I'd press my luck for a Jets shit-show rather than a Steelers "meltdown." I can't put $ on shitty ass teams. GL!

1 Eagles -6

The Eagles bandwagon is at max capacity. You will be hard pressed to find anyone on the Panthers for this one. Proceed with caution. Still I think Mark Sanchez plays well. The Eagles are a well coached team that can force turnovers, going against Cam, that is a big plus. Cam is in a slump and until performs well I'm not siding with the Panthers. Eagles at home.

2 Rams +7(-120)

The Rams were lucky to hold on against SF last week but their defense was excellent. I've seen too many Palmer interceptions to lay 7 against a good D-line. 7 is too much. I don't think Arizona has that much of a coaching edge. The talent disparity isn't as wide as this line might indicate.

2 49ers +5.5

The 49ers might be having the season from hell...not much of a sell huh? I don't think the Saints defense is capable of shutting down Kaepernick. This rivalry has been pretty close in the last 4 years. The 49ers have won once and lost another by 3 points in the past two matchups(both in NO). This 49ers isn't at full strength that's true but if they want to salvage their season they need this game. 49ers are more desperate and Kaepernick can shred this Saints defense. I like the 49ers.

3 Ravens -9(-115)

1 Dallas/Jacksonville under 45.5

These London games have been pretty wonky so be careful. Dallas' game plan should be running the ball because A) Weeden is not a good QB or B)(If Romo plays) Romo just broke two bones in his back so try to get out of there as quickly as possible without him getting hit. Bortles has been bad this year, I can't justify taking the Jags +7.5, though I would like to. I hope Jacksonville tries to make things easier on Bortles and that might mean relying more on a ground and screen game. Demarco Murray has been incredible this year, he's liable to go off. Not a strong play.

1 Denver -9

The Rams were leading 14-10 in the 4th against Arizona but lost. The Rams were closer than the 31-14 score might lead you to believe. These Rams have beaten the Seahawks. They have beaten the 49ers. The Rams had an early lead a couple months ago on MNF, dominating SF for a time. The reason I'm going against these feisty Rams at home is Austin Davis' inconsistency. He is dangerous in the worst way. If Denver gets its pass rush going against Davis it could get ugly. Denver bounced back nicely from their loss at NE. I expect Peyton to keep Denver focused the way he used to do for Indy. I don't see this as a let down spot for Denver beacuse they are only 2 weeks removed from an ugly performance at NE. I also don't know how well the Rams will play in a "non-rivalry" situation against a great team. Maybe The Rams really get after it and see the AFC Champs as a sort of validation that they are better than their poor record indicates. I think its definitely possible...but I think even if the Rams play excellently Denver still could win and cover.

1 Patriots +2.5 (-105)...you can get +3 for -130 but I'm not doing that. I only present the lines I play.

Pats in Indy against a very good Indy team. Luck is dangerous very very dangerous. I see the case for Indy...and I think its a good one.

I took the Pats +3 when they hosted Denver...but this one isn't in NE, a place where they are amazingly good. Gronk -supposedly- is healthy for the first time in a long time. I believe it though, the last two games he has 254 yards and 4tds, and if you go back further you see he's been putting up good numbers pretty consistently since 10/05. He is, arguably, the best offensive weapon in the league. He allows Belichek to do so much more with the offense. Belichek has game planned well for dangerous QB's in the past. He make a defense greater than the sum of its parts.

NE was really fired up after that Chiefs game when reporters were asking Belichek if he was considering a QB change. NE has come back with a vengeance. They really are a "nobody believes in us" team I don't think they've lost that mentality. Coming out of this bye week Indy has a bull's eye on in NE's eyes. Indy is coming out of a bye as well. I just think 2 weeks for Belichek is more dangerous than 2 weeks for Pagano.

2 Packers -5.5

Packers at home against an evenly matched foe should be Packers -3 (they have a legit dedicated home crowd). I don't think a 2.5 point difference reflects the advantages that they have over Philly... Both Philly and GB dominated last week. Last week was the first time Philly's defense played without Demeco Ryans, a leader Chip Kelly loves, his nickname is Mufasa. Ryans was the QB of the defense. Last week the D was great against the Panthers but it was the Panthers. Cam was already struggling tremendously going into that game. Rodgers makes a lot more adjustments at the line than Cam, I think Rodgers will find some mismatches without Ryans on the field. Sanchez had the home crowd behind him , he didn't have to face any adversity in that game. ...In Arizona John Brown, a Arizona receiver, got behind the Philly defense at a crucial time late in the game for a 75 yard TD. Jordy Nelson and Cobb will probably be the best WR tandem Philly has faced and Rodgers the best QB. The Packers defense is giving up 142.6 rushing yards a game, that's scary considering Sproles and McCoy have big play ability. The last thing the Packers want is for MCoy to get going so Philly could control the football longer, keeping it away from Rodgers. Philly forcing a turn over in 21 straight games is really impressive. I like the Packers at this point in the season. In their last 6 the Packers have won @Chicago 38-17, vs Vikings 42-10, @Miami 27-24, vs Carolina 38-17, a 44-23 loss @NO and again beat the Bears 55-14...Philly has been in every game, their two losses @49ers and @Cards were by a combined 9 points....
