Rondo hates Miami I expect him to play hard. Cousins hates a lot of things mostly coaches and anyone that opposes him. Whiteside has done some talking on the court in recent games...he has been trash talking. I like Whiteside's confidence but I expect Cousins to bring it and try and dominate his matchup. Whiteside is coming off a triple double and having had a lot of recognition from the sports media. He has become one of the bigger free agent names this summer. There aren't many really good centers in the NBA I'm not prepared to bet Whiteside against a motivated Cousins. The Heat are a good team but have a lot of new pieces that have gelled pretty well to start the year but they have a ways to go before they are a really good team. Sacramento played last night in Atlanta and now play at Miami in the 2nd of a back to back but had Nov 16th and 17th off.

Sacramento gives up some buckets but I don't trust Miami's ability to score especially if Boogie is banging with Whiteside and Whiteside doesn't get as many of those easy alley oops. I think Boogie goes for 30+ points tonight with a couple easy buckets because Whiteside has been known to help and go for the block as opposed to stay with his man.
Personally I bought Sac up to +10.5(-150) from +8.5 and I am throwing them in various parlays with my NFL picks. Falcons -5.5(-120)

I watched Philly a lot last night and they aren't good at all. Some teams aren't exactly the team their win/loss record indicates but these guys are. They are like a D league team in that it looks like every player is playing hard but only for themselves and not a team, it feels more like a skills show case than a cohesive team.

The Mavs have been closely monitoring Parsons minutes, he has barely played more than 20 minutes in any game this season. This game is the 2nd of a back to back. Obviously Mavs are way older than Thunder and have many guys -Dirk, Deron Williams, Parsons- who need to have their minutes closely monitored. This team beat OKC in OKC last year but they had Monta Ellis, Tyson Chandler, Stoudemire, Rondo, and Al-Farouq Aminu making substantial contributions and all of them are gone. The Thunder have always been the more athletic team but now there is a huge disparity. I don't think Dallas will be able to do a good enough job defending the paint. OKC needs a win and they are home. Barea can't match up with a motivated Westbrook. I'm wary of Westbrook trying to do too much though. I'm taking the Thunder but I will wait and hope the line moves a little in OKC's favor. I plan to buy a point or maybe even 2...OKC needs this win so much more there is even the revenge factor coming into play as the Thunder were swept by Dallas last season. I will update as soon as I lay the bet.
