Really liking Philly tonight

Call me crazy, but I think the Phillies play much looser this weekend now that they are out of it. Ordinarily in this matchup you would get Padilla -125 or so, so this is some nice value.

Sure the Braves have something to play for, but they do have a 2 game lead in the win column, 1 game lead overall for home field in the NL. I don't see them busting themselves up trying to win this one.

Ramirez has been a little suspect on the road this season, so despite the Phils overall lack of success against lefties, I think they will hit tonight.

Throw in a rowdy crowd at the Vet for the last series there and this has the makings of 7-2 Phillies.

As an Atlanta resident I don't think that the Phils will be juiced up at all for this one. Nor will the crowd. When the schedule was made this was supposed the series that decided the NL East. But since the Phillies suck, this has no meaning.

I don't really think the Phils will be juiced for the game, but I think they will be loose. All season they have played with they weight of some heavy expectations, and they have played like they couldn't handle it well. Now the pressure is off, and I don't think they will play like quitters in this spot at home.

IMO opinion Ramirez sucks, I hope he doesn't cost us a game in the Fall Classic.

Ramirez has been pretty good on the road this year. 4-2 with a 3.75 era. He looked real good tonight. He's trying to get on that postseason roster. I think he earned it tonight!
