H.E.A.T. is a grass-roots animal rights group established in late 2002, based out of Cleveland, Ohio. We are dedicated to fighting all forms of abuse.

Our tactics range from the most traditional and passive methods, such as letter writing, all the way to civil disobedience and everything in between. Our campaigns have included regular fur protests, joining in the nationwide campaign against K.F.C., protests at Ringling Bros. circus, Universoul circus and the Shriner's circus as well as starting what we hope will be a large campaign against Six Flags Worlds of Adventure in Aurora, Ohio. Protests against Six Flags take place because of their continuing use of marine animals and for the failure to meet a simple request: that H.E.A.T. be allowed to take a tour of the housing facilities where the animals are kept. We take a "no compromise" stance against abusers. Larger cages will not get us to stop; only the total liberation of non-human animals.
H.E.A.T. fully supports the brave men and women, who are risking their freedom, as part of the Animal Liberation Front and other illegal campaigns on behalf of the animals and the environment. We DO NOT support activists who are willing to work with the police in any way, in investigations that have to do with animal liberation activities.
