Ok, I kind of lied because I'm not actually wagering on this game. I just have a strong opinion on it so I'll post it to go towards my season record. Which as of now is 0-0 because I don't bet on pre-season.

I didn't even look into this line until I saw everyone and their mother on the under. I thought that was strange so I looked to see if it made sense. And it did untill you looked more closely. I think they are expecting the Browns' offense to be shut down by this Giants D, especially with Edwards out. I'll tell you this, Wilson is going to step up tonight. Plus they have K2 back and never foget about Cribbs. I think a trick play may be seen tonight. ;)

This total is just too low for two offenses that can move the ball. On top of all this the DB's that will be in the game in the second half can't cover worth a shit. I see more second half points then expected. Even though no money is on it, my new reputation is. (and that's worth more than money:103631605)

Check it, but, I think the G-Men have 3 WR's out and
B. Edwards is out for the Browns. Coughlin wants to keep the
Giants healthy and may limit 1st team.

Looks like the under is a safer play.

I'll take the idiot award for the day. I did mean to say over. As for where the public is at, I'm not concerned with that.

I did not mean that the general public was on the under, I never even looked into that. I just meant that I noticed this play because everyone on the forum (that I saw) was on the under. Anyways, I'm not putting any actual money on it because it's pre season I just thought I'd start with my first pick tonight.

Nice start 1-0 up ZERO dollars. If I didn't have a thing against betting pre season then I would have had an easy win. Oh well, for this one pre season win, I'd have 5 losses. I'll still wait 'til the regular season to get into the real money.

I should have gone with my first instinct... i decided to go under vs. joe public in hopes of winning. didn't work. we're the WR's really out or not--i heard they were but i never saw the game at all.

Blindsided by that one. The top Wr's were out, but it did not matter.
The 1st half was like arena football. Eli Manning was spot on.

Good call for those who took the over.

I took the under, but with some money management,
I live to see another day. Time to get it back.

Back ups were playing a lot for both teams. I know the Giants had Burres (is that how you spell his name?) out and the Browns had Edwards out. I don't remember who else was out for the Giants if any. The Browns of course had Kasper out and Jurevisous out (not sure if I'm spelling these names right, damn I need to learn how to spell some names.)

If betting against the public were that easy we'd all be rich. The public wins right around 50% of the time if I'm not mistaken.
