Penn st -15.5 1st half. temple is way out matched. I like the first half play better than the game play because Penn st has shown they can put up bunches fast and early. In 3 of the 6 1st half quaters this team has played they have scored 21+ points in. They are averaging 37 1st half total points. Asking them to out score temple by at least 16 isnt asking much from this team. This is the team they beat 31-0 on the road last season (17-0 1st half), 47-0 at home the previous season (31-0 1st half). Also temple is 3-0 ats so theres a chance for a back door which is another reason I like the first half play. With temple giving up 200 yds rushing and penn st putting up nearly 300 rushing yds at home that will make things so much tougher for temple. That and the strong defense wont give temple many opportunities to put up points in the first half so if psu can capitalize and score a couple tds this ones in the bag.

PITT -1. I vowed many years ago to not bet on pitt because of wannsdett and flako. This theres too much value to pass up on. Pitt sufferred a season and home opening upset loss after a hyped up preseason due to the wva upset last season and the talented recruits brought in. Iowa didnt look good in their win over rival iowa st and they now have to play their first road game of the season vs a hungry team on a national televised stage with 60k+ fans. pitt has a good running game and with that you always have a chance.

There you have it, PSU puts up another 21+ points in a single quarter in the first half making that 4 out of 8 now. This one was as easy as I thought it would be and you dont have to worry about any back door.

VT -1/2 2nd half +130. VT is 17-5 ats in last 22 road games and we are basically getting an extra 3.5/4 pts so we'll have an advantage. Considering how bad VT offense has played so far they are still just down 1 possession. That should say alot for them in the locker. They could very easily come out and turn it around or they could continue to keep it close and then all were asking is for a fg. so with +130 odds Im on it.
