The Tampa Bay Rays have new food options coming to Everglades Brewhouse at Tropicana Field this season.
Hungry at the ballpark?
Forget hot dogs, peanuts and Cracker Jack. The Tampa Bay Rays have something much, much bigger in mind. Something that weighs 4 pounds, to be exact.
On Friday, the team unveiled some of its food selections for the upcoming season at Tropicana Field. The most mouth-watering option is a 4-pound "Fan vs. Food" burger with a pound of fries that promises to satisfy ... and stick in the gut awhile.
Meat. Cheese. Bacon. Lettuce. Onions. Tomatoes. Mmmm. It appears to be the organization's take on the popular Travel Channel show "Man v. Food" hosted by Adam Richman.
Two tickets to a future Rays game and a T-shirt await fans brave enough to finish this beefy beast. So this summer, when you reach for your glove before hitting the road to the dome, pack extra napkins and your appetite as well.
Hey, if you leave the Trop hungry, it's your fault.
