If andre johnson had a qb then yes. He never had double digit touchdowns which is crazy. Guess foster stole them all. Ray allen for sure. Nba hall of fame got to be easiest to get into out of all the sports

Wow...never would have guessed that.
Lack of a consistent QB definitely hurt him.

Ray Allen, definite Hall of Famer, might not be first ballot, be he will get in for sure.

Andre Johnson, not a Hall of Famer. Pretty good numbers, but not on winning high profile teams. Great receivers tend to produce big no matter who the QB is, so I don't buy that. Take C.Johnson, R.Moss, T.Owens. They are great no matter who the QB is.

Some receivers can be propped up by a great QB when they would be much less without them, see J.Edelman, W.Welker, M.Harrison. But not many great receivers are held back by bad QB's they still get their numbers, often by being behind at the end of game because of the shitty QB and getting garbage time stats. Where when you are on Brady or Manning led teams you won't get many years in the 4th quarter up 35-10 running the clock out.

good point. But none of those receivers you named had bum qb's. Randy Moss always had a QB , honestly. Always. Chad Johnson had the #1 pick in the draft in Carson Palmer for most of Chad Johnson's career. The worst QB out of those receivers was Jeff Garcia....not Jeff George. and even Jeff Garcia wasn't bad. In 2000 and 2001, back to back seasons he had pro bowl years. Great numbers. None of those receivers played with any bad QB's. Try Mr. Pick 6 Matt Schaub himself, or TJ Yates, Sage Rosefels, David carr, Ryan Fitzpatrick. Those are some very very bad quarterbacks. Maybe Carr could have been better if it wasn't an expansion team, but oh well he didn't produce.

NFL takes a lot of team success. NBA is a lot of individual success and the HOF honors individuals. So it is easier to judge an NBA player or a baseball player rather than a NFL player. but I do agree he shouldn't be in the HOF
