Here we go for this Saturday, so far we are starting 4-0 this season, and today we go for 6-0... Thats right, 2 games on the card for today.
Raiders vs Vikings
Christian Ponders return home to Minnesota, after being signed in the off-season by the Raiders. Ponder will see some time, and dont expect anymore then 10 passes from him as backup. But, the real gem here for the Raiders is Matt McGloin, he has a knack for reading defenses and getting the ball out quickly and accurately, and he will see a significant amount of playing time after Derek Carr leaves the field. On the other side we have Teddy Bridgewater who will play, followed by Heinicke, and Shaun Hill and Mike Kafka, as the Vikings try and limit their roster to 3 QB's. And those following Bridgewater hope he stays healthy the whole season, or their season can end up a complete disaster. Nice edge here with the QB's coming in for the Raiders.
Running game is pretty balanced on both sides of the ball, no real gems here, as Peterson will again more than likely sit out.
Now this is another gem of the game favoring the Raiders, the Defensive Line vs the battered and shortened offensive line of the Vikings. Expect them the whole game to be in the backfield, hurrying these inexperienced Vikings QB's the whole game. Look for lots of QB hurries and at least 3 sacks this game for the Raiders. The Vikings young defense will hold up as best as they can, but with the Raiders defense constantly pushing, you will see the Raiders having the shorter field most of the game, which means they will have better opportunities to score, and winning the field position battle is KEY in any game of football.
Expect the Raiders QB's and Defense to outshine this Vikings team this evening, and cash it in! This game should be near a pick'em or a very -1 for either the Raiders or Vikings. This line is way over-inflated.
This is the Vikings 3rd game in 13 days, while the Raiders have played 1 single game thus far this season. Look for the fatigue to catch up to the Vikings as well, key mistakes, and just wanting the game over with.
Raiders +5

Ravens vs Eagles
Flying high game, but which bird is the better bird to back this weekend?
Chip Kelly has some decisions to make this off-season, and this game will be the one to solidify his choice at backup (possibly starting is Bradford gets injured yet again), So the competition is going to be tough, with Barkley leading the way followed by Tebow breathing down his neck. Sanchez does know the system and has a shot, but he needs to step it up this game, which I think he will. Now on the other side, you have Joe Flacco, you know he isn't going anywhere, and Matt Shaub who will take his place later in the game. Shaub is a 10 year Vet, who hasn't recovered fully from his Injury when he was with the Texans, and was even cut by the Raiders after 1 dismal season. He lacks the poise and gets happy feet since he has been back. then coming in you have Bryn Renner, a wet behind the ears rookie to take some snaps. He didn't look good against the poor Saints 3rd stringers, imagine what the Eagles defense is going to do to the Ravens Shaub/Renner? They held down Luck and his deep offense and better WR's. Should be fun to watch these two games and just watch a defense dominate both of them (Raiders and Eagles).
The running game will be fun to watch with Chip Kellys playbook in the mix, and the Ravens will try and stretch the field, but with Flacco sitting, it wont be very successful.
This Eagles defense will have a field day with the speed they have all over the place, while the Ravens do have a decent defense, its no where what it used to be. They couldn't keep the play-makers with Flacco eating tons of the teams salary cap. While the Eagles are improving, Ravens are declining. Talent-wise I believe the Eagles have the best full roster ATM, and its going to be tough to cut it down when they have to soon... and expect most (if not all) of those players to find a job on an NFL team somewhere.
Cash it in this weekend with pick #2
Eagles -4
Well, have a great Saturday guys and girls, cash them in and go buy something nice!
