I'm sorry but I can't ever forget the BS Steeler victory over Seattle and I will never know who really won today's game as that phony no call on the obvious delay of game on that 3 rd and 9 where Ravens got a 1 st. down that gave them the chance to kick a winning field goal is simply BS ! Stupid Cowher defends the no call with a bunch of BS.... Of course He would defend it... It's the only reason his Steelers beat Seattle... Fuc-en BS ! I hate games in which everyone that has a brain knows that the REFs are either brain dead or have a large wager on the game !

was a bad call, Dierdorf even nailed it with 3 seconds saying better hurry. Dierdorf actually not as bad now considering cornheiser is in.

That was the worst non call I have ever witnessed, If I was on the Titans sideline I would have ran onto the field.

Not to mention Flacco steped out of bounds in the back of the end zone?

I saw that as well at the time, bud the commebtators missed it and that link is the first chance I have seen a replay - definately looks OB on that first shot but I guess the above replay shows it was in bounds, though a close up would have been nice...

I wouldn't call their victory BS, but it definitley was a horrible no-call. Feel for all Titans backers, titans fans, and titans players.

Then you didn't watch the Steelers@ Ravens game a few weeks ago when the Steelers got away with the exact same delay of game non-call. They ended up converting a 3rd down pass to H. Miller for a 1st down and ending up getting a FG in a game they won 10-9.

They showed it from another angle with a close up after the game was over and he was clearly in bounds...

I have seen many games in which a if you hike the ball just at 0 they will not call it. Regardless, I am glad the ref didn't make the call and decide the game...

Blame the refs all you want but Tenn inabilty to stop Ravens when it counted and there shit play in the redzone cost them a game they could have easily won..

Comparing this to the Pitt/Sea SB is ridiculous. Play clock may have run down and maybe it made some difference, but that SB was the worst called game start to finish in the history of the game.

look at the original angle again. There IS a second step. That step is not shown in the 'backview'. I'd love to see the next few seconds of that back angle. Nice place to stop though.

They showed it on the post game with a close up magnified on his foot and he was clearly in bounds.

You can't see shit from that angle. They showed the entire replay from the behind angle and it was very clear that he did not step out. I'll take the clear angle over the unclear one. When you look at things from the wrong angle it is easily to get fooled by optical illusions. Total non-issue.

Javon Kearse pulled a bonehead offside penalty on the winning drive when The Ravens had a 2nd and 15 at the 50. Kearse jumped offside and changed the down and distance to a much more manageable of 2 and 10.

<TABLE cellSpacing=1 cellPadding=2 width="100%" border=0><TBODY><TR class=bg2 id=play vAlign=center align=right height=17><TD class=bg3 align=left>2-15-50 </TD><TD class=bg3 align=left>(1:58) (Shotgun) J.Flacco pass incomplete short right to D.Mason.
PENALTY on TEN-J.Kearse, Defensive Offside, 5 yards, enforced at 50 - No Play.</TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

That penalty IMO was a game changer and if you were watching closely Jeff Fisher's face showed how painful it was to him to see a needless jump offside call go against him at midfield with the game tied at 10 and less than 2 minutes to go.

I had a big bet on titans-2 1/2 and -3 on the game, and after watching the game I'm still wondering how the Titans didn't blow this team out.

Having said that, it was a bad no call, but the refs didn't give the game away, the Titans did. Too many turnovers.

P.S. How the hell is Lendale White an NFL running back? Looks like some of the dlineman were faster than he is.

Actually it's all good as I benefited with the Ravens winning out right!

Game was actually hard to watch at the time as neither team could sustain a drive but was a great slug fest.

Years ago I remember watching Wazzu and Arizona play in the snow, was a war of attrition both teams had the stormin norman defense or some reference to the General they used back then and they beat the shit out of each other.

Forget all the 'refs stole the game' crap. The Ravens played better overall and deserved to win. No turnovers - they didn't even put the ball on the ground. They were the better team.

HOW MANY PLAYS IN ANY GAME --COULD "HOLDING BE CALLED" and it is not called?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Why don't they eliminate umpires from home plate calling balls and strikes? This is 2009 and that could be done electronically.
