interesting you have CHI at no. 2. I think MINN may challenge for that division. Other interesting placements as well, but it's still too early...

I'll let you know who wins the AFC East by week 16 or so...

AFC West is easier- either SD, OAK, KC or Denver wraps that division up

I would say that on the AFC south I could change Tennesse for Indianapolis.
on the NFC North I would change Greenbay and put Minnesota.NFC east too many questions.

For the NFC South once again, IMO from top to bottom easily the best division in entire NFL. Until Vick learns to throw first and then scramble Atlanta will remain the third best team in that division. Interesting that you have SF rated ahead of the Rams. I don't look for much from the 9ers at all this year.

I agree with the guesser, I think the Browns will be hurting this year. They had a lot of fortunate wins last year, they won't get those this year.

TALKIN FOOTBALL....LUV IT!

NFC EAST
PHI: mcnabb and the coaching bring them back to the top of a weak div.
WASH: loaded with talent and speed, a fast start will help them to the 2nd spot.
DAL: the tuna will win some div games to grab the 3rd spot.
NYG: too old and they'll show it this year.

NFC NORTH
GB: gb comes back hungry, and farve makes what could be a last run at it.
DET: lots of talent, young and loaded with speed, give me a little more experience with joey hiesman and finally a coach.
MINN: as long as a lineman is the coach infighting will be the theme.
CHICAGO: bringing up the rear, urlacher can't win it on offense.

NFC SOUTH:
TAMPA: gruden and the defense they have will bring the champs back to the div title, but not much further. they are the old ravens, a one year deal.
ATL: lots of points with vick and the offense, but they'll give up a ton with the defense.
they come in 2nd.
NO: late season collapse, business as usual.
CAR: who exactly do they have again?

NFC WEST
ST.L: they will always put points up against a div with no defense, anywhere.
SF: sf comes in 2nd just because they are better than seattle.
SEATTLE: sea hits 3rd cause they are worse than sf.
ARIZ: this team lost the only good player they had when the snake departed, they might not win 5 games.

AFC EAST
MIAMI: with roster additions over the preseason they might allow the least points in the league.
NYJ: a team who is on the upswing, could be a darkhorse.
BUFFALO: bledsoe is getting to the point in his career where he begins to shine, but he doesn't have the defense like mia and ny.
NEW ENG: another aging team.

AFC NORTH
CLEVE: just a guess but they just might jell this year.
PITT: thier defense keeps them towards the top, while maddux returns to the guy who gets kicked back to the rhine fire.
BALT: rebuilding for a year or two yet.
CINN: no explanation neccesary.

AFC SOUTH
INDY: no big suprise here.
TENN: close but no cigar.
HOUSTON: 3rd place shocker, if there is such a thing.
JAX: simply have no faith in the jags, they should be moving from jacksonville soon.

AFC WEST
KC: vermiel turns loose the dogs and once again is levitated to magician status.
DENVER: no reason i can think of except griese's gone.
OAK: another aging team
SAN DIEGO: we always knew how they played when seau was out, now he's gone. nuf said.

GAME.

Figured I'd put in some of my predictions since I can't sleep:

NFC East
Philadelphia: Capable offense, top defense.
NYG: These guys are always solid.
Washington: Questions remain on both sides of the ball.
Dallas: New RB, QB problems, weak WR's. Bryant is a stud though.

NFC North
GB: Surprisingly weak division. Favre and Green win this division by themselves.
Minnesota: Good offense, D is a question, but it's not like Detroit and Chicago are that hard to stop.
Chicago: Solid D, crap offense.
Detroit: Maybe in a year or two they'll be good.

NFC South
Tampa Bay: Still the best.
New Orleans: McCallister has a year or seasoning, the new additions last year have it too. This team gel's and surprises.
Atlanta: Good team, but in a tough division. Vick can't do it all.
Carolina: Horrid offense, good defense. Under city. Foster is one of the few bright spots.

NFC East
Seattle: Surprise team of the year. Dilfer is healthy, young WRs are more mature. Defense is in question, but Alexander and the offense should be surprisingly potent.
St. Louis: Injury bug derailed them last year. Still one of the most talented in the league.
SF: Their standing will depend on how successful their running game is.
Arizona: Challengers for worst NFC team.

AFC East
Miami: One of the better teams in the league.
Buffalo: Offense has another year of seasoning.
NE: Older team that flat out knows how to win.
NYJ: Martin is older, Coles is gone, a few questions on D. I look for these guys to fall flat.

AFC North
Cleveland: Solid on both sides.
Pittsburgh: Defense is good, offense has questions.
Baltimore: Could surprise with a little offense.
Cincinnati: There's always next year.

AFC South
Indianapolis: Best of a bad division.
Tennessee: 2nd best of a bad division.
Jacksonville: Just because Houston's O is that bad.
Houston: 4-5 wins.

AFC West
Oakland: All they do is win.
San Diego: Team of the future. If D holds strong, could take division.
KC: Still no D. Offense can only do so much, and Priest is always a question mark lately.
Denver: Hard team to guage. This division could easily go either way.
