Software is Extensions, Ownership and management is world class. Anything attached to the VO-Group should be considered among the industry elite.

I've played out of them quite a while and I like the book. Upgraded their software a few months back I think. Haven't used them much for baseball but they were adding poker and some other neat stuff if I remember right. They hang overnights and have dime lines. Overall a strong book IMO.

I have used them for about a year and very satisfied. The site is easy to get around and has never been down.

unless they have changed - things i hated about them:

You can ONLY make plays in whole dollars. so, say a team is -105. to win $30 on them that would be $31.50. NOT at V-wager where you would have to risk $32 to win $30 - making the line now -106/107-ish. that quickly adds up.

They might have some of the dumbest and rudest CSRs around. dont bother asking them any kind of question for they are clueless. and don't bother asking to speak to someone higher up on the food chain - for the same thing goes. whoever you talk to is just as big of a moron and the CSR you previously spoke to - maybe even bigger.

this might be the biggest load of CRAP i have ever heard. i lost track of how many times i called them and asked them about lines for certain games/events. i was told along the following lines, "sorry sir, we don't have a line for that." so i would ask MORE than 24 hours in advance to see if they could make one - and EVERY TIME was told, "sorry sir, we can't do that for you." requests included stuff like lines for the little league world series (olympic has lines for it). off all the things VW prides itself on - this has to be the biggest load of crap they spew. this is a bigger lie than "the check's in the mail."

LAAAATE lines: NFL and especially CFL lines come up VERY late - maybe wednesday - or for the cfl - about 24-48 hours before the game. this way the number gets hit elsewhere and VW gets a number after all hits have been made.

They sell you name/adress: i have lost track of how much crap i get from books i never had anything to do with - but KNOW they got all info from VW.

they do pay VERY promptly - i will give them that. but i am a former customer there - with the emphasis on FORMER!

But all in all - V-Wager BLOWS! the site gave me nothing but trouble ALL THE TIME (when i would go to place a wager it usually took 10 minutes to do so - for the first 3-4 times i tried to place the wager the system logged me off forcing me to log back on again) - the people are first class rude jerks and they have a real "god complex" to them.

i wouldn't go back to them even if they gave me a free account with $100,000 in it.

i'd sooner play at Aces Gold than go thru the unprofessionalism i went thru at V-Wager.

V Wager did not have series prices up for the NBA playoffs

And they say that you can call in an event and ask them to make a line on it? Hilarious

Gonna have to disagree with at least half of what you are claiming there Winky. Not 3 weeks ago I personally sat in their C.S. Area and their Wagering Floor. The clerks are fluent in English, and each call is answered with a " Thank-You for calling V-Wager, how may I help you" and every call was ended with a "Thank-you for calling V-Wager". So, you are way off on that one.

Software does have that little quirk but it's not exclusive to them, it's the provider. For a book that pays and pays timely I would rather not be able to bet cents then get stiffed.

Finally, your claim that V-Wager sells your info is wack and simply slanderous IMO. I will bet you right now that I have your email address somewhere in my lists and I guarantee that I didn't get it from V-Wager.

micheal - when i say VW sold my address - i am NOT talking about my e-mail address - but rather my mailing one.

i know this FOR A FACT! when i signed up with VW i gave them an address NO OTHER sports book ever had. i gave them a slight alteration to my name - something NO OTHER sports book had.

now that adderss is overrun with crap from every sportsbook on the planet and it is VERY EASY to trace it all back to one offender - V-Wager. if it were a court of law - once i brought in all of the evidence - the jury would take about 3 minutes to rule in my favor - if that long.

as i said before - i would NEVER play at their book again. i wouldn't even use counterfeit money to play at their lousy book.

as Math Guru pointed out - this B.S. they feed us about "ask us to make a line for you and we will" is so blatantly false it is laughable. as i said - i asked NUMEROUS times and EVERY time was told by some flunkie there, "sorry sir - we can't do that."

i wish more people would stop licking their balls and start exposing these clowns for being just that. they run a 4th rate book yet everyone thinks they are the greatest - when they SUCK!

They can be courteous at V Wager. I would say that they are more courteous than your average shop, but anyway that is a tough subject and who really cares unless they completely bark like dogs.

Selling my name? Immediately after I signed up at V Wager I started receiving pamphlets in the mail from Vegas Offshore. It took me a full 6 months to get off this mailing list. During that time, it was impossible to speak to ANY management at all. They ALWAYS said that Bruce was away from the desk or in a meeting, ALWAYS and I mean 100% of the time, total bullshit.

No sportsbook should EVER sell a name or send an unsolicited piece of mail related to gambling. Without further explanation, this should just never be done in my opinion..WWTS sets a good example in this regard.

7 or 14 business days waiting before you can even REQUEST a payout after making a credit card deposit.

Now I think that they have 24 hr phone support which is great.

What I know about them…

They pay on time, doesn’t matter the amount. If you play by their rules they will pay you every penny you earned.

They have some rules that are really old. I think they never changed them since they opened 4 years ago. These are really annoying for a lot of customers but the financial stability makes them still play there.

They were located in the Mall San Pedro renting space from BOS. Last year they moved to their own building. Huge, 3 store building with a LOT of offices. 250+ employees I think.

Sorry you feel that way Winky but I still disagree with you. What you may find unacceptable I will tolerate with a smile because I know for a fact when I put my money in I will be able to get it back out 100 times out of 100 times.

There is no "perfect" book out there for every person. I don't like little things about a lot of books. None of which would cause me not to play there and none of which would certainly cause me to bash them.

I don't like Canbet's software, I don't like having to wait for a bases line till 11:30 at BoDog, but the fact remains that these are both great books and just because I personally find something about them irritating I would still rate them very high and refer anyone that asked me without a doubt.

Finally, I have personal accounts with MVP and V-Wager and I never got one single piece of mail from them. In fact the only book I get anything from is Millenium.

And...

Credit card play is outdated anyway, I don't even know of a card that will allow you to make a deposit anymore.

Furthermore I am of the opinion that if you don't have cash to wager with you shouldn't be wagering anyway. If you need to use a credit card you have bigger problems then worrying about a 7-14 day wait.

V Wager Rule Page
quote:

Each credit card deposit may be refunded any time after 14 business days from the last credit card deposit date.

That can be around 20 days before you can even REQUEST the payout.

MC, this is not a debate about whether or not V Wager is a good place to play. They certainly pay and if you make that deposit Western then you are going to get paid EVERY PENNY and FAST.

I remember coming into that shop with a cc (check card, MC) deposit and being told that I had to wait a long time to request a payout. IMO, that was bad. Compare this to Pinnacle where u can request payout the very next day.

I think the customer should have the option to fund his account anyway he likes. You can't say somebody doesn't have cash because he uses his credit card.

A 7 to 14 day wait it just to much time. I understand why they do it, but it is just a lot of time.

I know about a lot of people from Canada having problems using neteller or other methods like that. That is why they use their credit cards.

CR-

It is actually 14 biz days..count 'em, lol

That is the rule

What is Pinnacle doing that V Wager is not? They are both sportsbooks and should in theory have the same access to credit card transactions. Why does one shop do it the next day and the other one makes you wait up to 3 full weeks to even request your payout?
