Joey C,

I am working on the URL thread for all sportsbooks, so i just do searches, using words associated with Sportsbook. I try to find a new one per day. Or, in this case, someome mentioned this place to me on an IM.

I bet with them and I have had a good experience so far. Good limits and no problems in payouts. They also offer 1st half money lines which I have not found at a lot of books.

Sr. Muny--Thanks for the info. I will look into them. Are they good?

Jay Leno--I am confused by this whole forum. It seems like whenever someone mentions a book that is not among the usual 5-10 mentioned (Olympic, Cris, etc.) people always say these other books are no good and do not pay. But, the people saying this have NEVER played with them and do not know. How do they put down books if they have no experience with them? Maybe these other books are good as well, just not as known as the other books. How do people bash books when they do not know about them?

Greg4567 - You're right. If you are new to the forum and recommend an obscure book you are almost always called a shill. I guess it's harder to believe a newbie over someone who has been around for some time. Welcome!

Peteep--Thanks. I can understand why that would occur and that makes sense. But, that still does not answer my question. If you look at this forum (or at least what I have seen since I have been here) all "obscure book" (as you call them) ABSOLUTELY DO NOT PAY PERIOD. NO CHANCE they will pay, or so say the people on here. But, NONE of those people has bet with these "obscure books", so how do they know? And, at one time, wasn't Olympic or Cris or whomever an "obscure book"? Well, they are pretty solid now. So, isn't it possible these "obscure books" will be solid as well and should be given a fair chance? Or maybe I am just a "newbie" and do not understand.

First off, your tone in that post make it seem as though I may have offended you. That was not the intention. I was simply trying to let you know the mind-set of many people on this forum.

Many people do automatically dismiss a new book or one they haven't heard of. I don't think it's fair to automatically say "It's a shit book! They don't pay" without ever having played there. I personally wouldn't play at saturn considering all the books I KNOW do pay. Perhaps saturn pays without any problems...there's a good chance they do....however that's a gamble I don't have to take.

Jay--Ok, I can understand that and that of course is your perogative. But, why would you have to bash the book if you do not know? I am confused why you would take "not for the limit" on them paying if you do not know or have no first hand experience? Why not either (1) give them the benefit of the doubt or (2) say you do not know since you have no experience with them. But why bash them when you do not know?
