I've had 5 Palm treos; they all suck on both sprint and verizon. I had a Blackjack but TMobile sux.

I have a Motorola Q and a Curve and they both work well. The Q is on Sprint and the Curve is on Verizon. I use them both often.

So the phone and all it has to offer performs that much differently depending on the carrier?

Currently with ALLTEL and would be using the phone a lot for ETRADE MOBILE TRADING.

Nice timing, I just got the Blackberry Curve (8310) yesterday as I needed something with email capabilities for my business. Smallest and lightest phone that has a full QWERTY keypad. For email writing, texting and phone quality it beats the iphone for me. If you do a ton of web browsing on your phone the iphone has the edge.

Also the Blackberry maps and GPS functionality is not as strong as the iphone. I've used both and for what I need, the Blackberry is perfect, great phone.

I hated Alltel forever as they were mostly for small to medium sized cities. I believe that in June Verizon bought them out. Verizon rips you with high prices, but they have the best national coverage, no doubt. You're good.

I have the 3g iphone and the curve. I love my iphone but some people can't get use to the touchscreen. You cannot go wrong with the curve though....Great all around phone. But the best advice I could give you is dump Etrade, interactivebrokers.com is what you need. Think of it like the Matchbook of the financial world.

I have the Pearl and have been using it for over a year. Great phone, but for trading it may be too small (screen and keypad).

I travel a lot and it just didn't work for me. I ended up taking it back to AT&T before the 30 day trial period and staying with my samsung because the reception (signal) was much better.

I am on my 5th Blackberry curve 8320. 4 times I've had to send it back because the track ball quit functioning. 2 of the 4 used to cut out on me in the middle of calls and I was not in bad areas. Store I bought it from said his wife has the same problem. I love all the features that come with it...just not the problems. I will be looking at the Bold.

Just learned the Blackberry emits one of the highest levels of radiation of any phone on the market......that sort of sucks.
