I can tell answer this question with great precision because I recently was doing a top 10 sportsbooks list. For me Las Palmas is #5. They fit in great with what I do.

That is a very personal rating though. Any one of my top 4, I would recommend for anyone but Las Palmas isn't like that. The things I like about them wouldn't be the things that many people look for. I could make a fair little list of drawbacks to Las Palmas.

But what they have that is good, is REALLY good (for me).

They upgraded their software the day after the SB. Better than the old s/w, but still a bit behind the times. Have always liked this book:

Good things:

Opinionated lines often, especially props and halftimes. They pay quickly and occasionally offer good bonuses.

Bad things:

$2500 max NETeller w/d with only 1 free per month, $25 thereafter per w/d. $500 limit online limit.

Great book for the low limit player.

So any of your current Las Palmas players - I see Rogerthedodger responded saying they have opinionated lines sometimes, just wanted some other responses about their lines. To me opinionated lines is one of my main reasons, next to getting paid, for choosing a book.

If you like dog's, you will like this book. Find a lot of value in the dog ML. They are also slow to move their lines, which I like.

They have a 5K per week Neteller withdrawal limit with the week starting on Tuesday. $500 online limits, but 1K if you call it in. Nice bonuses, and very quick to pay. Never a problem.

LOL!! I am reading the comment about their good ML's for dogs and I'm thinking, "shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!" Sometimes I'm like a selfish old fisherman who has found a good hole and doesn't want anyone else using it. Las Palmas ML's are very sensitive and it only takes one bet - and not even a max bet - to start moving them so I don't want people monkeying with my dog lines.

But I suppose I have gotten enough from this forum for my own selfish purposes that I shouldn't have such a knob attitude.

Interestingly, Las Palmas will fairly often have the best favorite ML of the 15 or so books I am monitoring at any given time.

So yep: opinionated ML's. (And I agree that the props are frequently opinionated too.)

Great book for losers. If you win and cashout they close your account. And when they close your account, they aren't even curteous enough to ask you how you wnat you money sent. They choose an option that is best for them, and could care less what you want. Furthermore, when they do pay, you can only make 2 withdrawl requests in a 7 day period. SO if you with draw on a Wednesday and then again on Friday, and have a great weekend, and try to withdraw again on Monay, they won't ket you do it.

For the average square that loses, it's a great book. But you can find a whole host of books that treat their losers well. But if you are someone who wins, my advice is to play there, because they do offer some great numbers, but just be prepared to be thrown out. Thats why you don't hear much about lasplamas anymore. They will toss you faster than SIA
