Why do you say Luck will be a dud? He was the 4th rated fantasy QB last year with a bad shoulder. I understand I need a backup plan, which is why I took Rivers. But 2nd half of the season and playoffs, it's a nice ace to have up my sleeve.

I know of ton of people in Indy and the inside info is that there's a chance he's out for the season. Or at least a good chunk of it.

That's the fist part, second part is that the colts are a disaster. They have ruined the guys career by not protecting him and nothing has changed on that front.

You will be just fine with Rivers though.

I am high on both for various reasons.

D Thomas wasn't capped by poor QB play last year, it was primarily a bum hip. He's healthy now, and has another year of chemistry with Siemian. And Mike McCoy in at O coordinator is huge for him. Mediocre QB play is not a horrible thing for him, because McCoy likes to call a lot of those bubble screens and get Thomas the ball in space, which is where he excels. Will be a PPR bell cow.

Watson is an improvement over Osweiller. I expect Hopkins to have a nice bounceback. His ADP has fallen too far.

Baldwin and Cooper were both gone by the time it got back to me after taking Bell.

In retrospect I might really regret passing on Cooks though. That's about the only questionable one I passed on. Passed on Cooks, Keenan Allen, Pryor, Crabtree, Allen Robinson...that's who was available there.

I definitely wanted D Thomas, Hopkins vs Cooks was the major tossup to me.

All good points.

I def would have gone Cooks though. Can't believe he was available there unless you drafted before the edelmen injury. Which if you did, I can't fault you for passing. Edelman is a target hog and him going down changed EVERYTHING for Cooks. He went first or second pick in round 2 in both my drafts.

I don't trust Keenan Allen. Injury history and crowded WR core. Pryor is a popular breakout pick but sure hasn't shown anything. Very hard to put faith in the Jags offense. I passed on all those guys as well

Just checked the exact ADP's.

Davante Adams is going 30th. I took him 29th.

According to that, my worst pick was Woodhead. I took him 14 spots ahead of his his ADP. This draft had an insane run on RB's though. Dalvin cook and kareem hunt both went in round two for example.

My best pick was Tyrod 119 spots after his usual ADP. I think i got him in the last or second to last round

In my league we switched over to auction last year and we all love it. So much better. $200 budget 8 teams with a qb, 2rb, 2wr, te, def, flex and 1 bench which creates a lot of turnover. I love my team and i blew $103 on DJ hahaha

Qb-winston
Rb- DJ
Crowell (my sleeper for a monster season this year)
Wr-Dez Bryant
Michael Thomas
TE- Ertz (breakout season)
Flex-Tyreek Hill
Bench-mcfadden on a flyer zeke is out

We drafted the day after the Edelman injury, but it wasn't official it was an ACL yet.

I maybe shoulda taken Cooks. I knew the guy in the 1 slot would take him right after me if I passed on him in round 2. Tough call, we'll see. I still like Hopkins this year.

That guy starting his team with David Johnson and Brandin Cooks.....

If he drafted even halfway competent the rest of the way he will be tough to beat

I think I would like Auction.

Would suit me well because I tend to target certain guys so there are times when I reach to get them. Auction would cure that.

Might give it a shot next year

Good to know that out of the ton of people JC knows in Indy, some of them has inside info on the Colts. Make sure you ask JC for inside stuff on the Colts this year.

He also got to keep Michael Thomas for like a 12th rounder.

Stafford
DJ
Hyde
Cooks
M Thomas
Hunter Henry
Keenan Allen

Not bad. I like my team better, but his is good.

He looks great on paper but very tough to judge teams before the season starts.

I'm a little concerned about Thomas this year as a first round pick. He could be amazing and become a perennial top 5 guy but just as good a chance he struggles as a true #1

I 100% planned on going WR, WR, WR, WR in the second draft after I saw I had the 8th pick again. Figured I would have AJ Green or Mike Evans in round one to Then grab guys like woodhead, powell, coleman, Riddick, in rounds 5-7.

But when Mccoy fell to 8th and Green/Evans were both gone. He was a no brainer. I would have liked the other way better but what can you do.

Now the rumor is that Zeke suspension will be reduced to 4 games. I think I can survive with that. Especially considering how brutal that early schedule is for the cowboys. If I go 0-4 there would be no recovering. The goal would be 2-2. If im sitting 2-2 after four weeks then get a top 3 overall fantasy player in my lineup ill be tough to beat.

Had bell last year and went 2-2 in the first four games and made it to the finals. Maybe a similar recipe here. and the beauty of that is I still had to spend a first round pick on bell last year. This year i grabbed beckham in round 1 and didn't take zeke until mid 2.

Still a lot of question marks on this appeal though.

Supposedly a decision is coming monday and a reduced suspension is expected. If not, all signs are Zeke will keep fighting, increasing his odds of playing the entire season.

Either way, as of right this moment it's looking like my ultra high risk in taking Zeke mid round 2 could pay off

Decision coming tomorrow on Zeke

If no decision by 4pm, Elliot plays week 1

Never had so much uncertainty on a fantasy team a week before the opener.

Need Odell, woodhead, and elliot to all suit up. I'd settle for Odell and woodhead with a elliot suspension reduced to 3 games.
