"almost never makes a mistake"

Well, you can be sure that all of his statistical cites are being fed into his ear by the production staff. To that end, he's little different from most other "color guys".

jaws just sounds like that nerd in the dark room watching game tape while the jocks throw spit balls at him. Tirico's voice is for the fair way, not an intense football game. Gruden needs Brent Musberger.

I'll give Gruden an A because he pretty much tell it the way you want to hear it

How can you not like his energy? You don't want to listen to a robot call the game or Bryant Goofball.

He knows the game, gets excited when necessary, and almost never makes a mistake. I am curious what people could possibly not like about him.

I agree with what you said, but I favor more of a Gus Johnson type. That is why I like Gruden, I like guys with energy.

Tricio is just not my cup of tea.

Most hated for me is easy. Marv Albert and Verne Lundquist

Terps,

You are correct one thing with Tirico. He is prepared better than anyone. He immediately mentioned that ATL would have to throw the challenge because of when the play started. I love his attention to detail.

Gruden is awesome. End of story. Just now he was talking about Katrina and what the people went through and then what the Saints meant to them. Some damn good stuff right there.

I still believe Chucky is an awesome coach. His GM skills are what did him in.

A+...He can actually talk and bullshit. He has a sense of humor and knows a hell of a lot about the game.

Gruden and Jaws could call this game without Tirico.
A's for them
Tirico just wastes air time. The visual tells all I need to know.

I think Tirico is just put there so ESPN doesn't get hit with the race card. I don't like Gruden at all he doesn't look like he wants to be there. I hated how he said this player and that player is the joker so much I had to watch the game on mute.

after a slow start, I think he's great.

Hopefully he doesn't start to say "bam or boom" and tell us it's "important to get a 1st down so the team can keep the ball".

Yes, you are correct. Tirico has only been with ESPN for about 15 years.

Honestly, is the way people think when they don't like someone or feel that someone got a job over them.

I guess people try and justify their shortcomings in any possible way.

Yeah always does his homework. If you pay close attention, he picks up on little things that not many announcers do. I put him on the level of Michaels when it comes to attention to detail.

Jaws needs to get shanked! He swears he's the shit. Tirico is the educated black man in the room. And Gruden is okay I guess. But for real they need to bring Kornheiser back. Tony was the best. He brought smiles to many childrens lives every Monday Night including mine.
