Rare Parlay to win 3x your money

I dont post often unless I feel strongly about something. Here are two plays im playing straight and parlaying

Giants Phills

Cueto has stated with our local media how he is going to opt out after this year and head to the AL. I dont really know why, but hed rather be in AL and he has been very hittable this year. My guess is with the Giants well below .500 hes not trying as hard and not focused. With MLB pitchers, if they dont have the focus they give up hits. Phills as shitty as their hitting has been, they have young talent. They can put runs (hopefully) on Cueto and the below average relievers Giants have. Phils are debuting their 25 year old prospect. His AAA numbers have been lights out.
In his half season of AA last year in 9 starts he went 7-0 .9 whip, 1.87 era and 8.3k/9
Promoted to AAA last year. This year in AAA hes 6-1 .940 whip, 2.44 era and 7.2k/9

I get it, this is against AAA batters...but have you seen the giants hit this year? 7 of their 9 players in their lineup today have a batting average below .260.
Theres sometimes Ill lay bets out there and EVEN if they lose, I feel good about them because they were great shots in my opinion. This is one today. If this does not win, Ill be content as its as good play as any.

2nd Play Washington A's
Yesterday I was reading Sherwoods daily thread and he had a play on the A's. His reasoning (dispite it losing) was sound. Why was Strausburg, as hot as he's been, be the same odds as an average pitcher while pitching againstt a last place team? I recall a friend of mine that use to work in Reno Casino and he mentioned Saturday is the best day to bet against the public because the amount of traffic Casinos get that day. Today if you are the average MLB fan and you fly out to vegas. If you see one bet on the board that you think, "hey ill throw some money on a game during lunch" Why not take the Nationals and their 34-19 record against the A's and their 23-31 record at -110?? Why not? Especially after the Nats MASHED them yesterday. Well, Mengdon is unknown yet a good prospect. Hes old school. Has a old school slow windup, rocks a mustache. Hes legit. Ive seen him pitch and I think he can be a good pitcher and Ross has been lit up this year. I think this game has fools bet written all over it and I like my odds with A's catching a break

A's -110 $165 to win $150

Parlay Phillies +130 and A's -110 $45 to win $150

Cueto 'not trying as hard' ... guy is the ultimate competitor. If he's going to opt out you'd think he'd want to look good to other teams. Phils are the worst team in baseball but maybe Lively is the boost they need ... bol.

I hope you hit this unitt, but don't listen to your local media. Cueto will follow the money. He was shelled in the AL due to heartbreak. He didn't want to leave Cincy. That made him realize that the game is a business. He gives his all every outing, I do know that he hates the left coast. As far as AL or NL? He doesn't care. He just wants $$$$ now.

I'll always give kudos where kudos are due and those were some nice plays. I like Sherwood, I've had a moment or two, lol, where I "challenged," let's say, some of his points on particular games. But I'd like to point out a few tidbits. Your buddy working in some casino commenting on Joe P. getting slaughtered with the lambs on Saturdays. Nevada doesn't hold a damn candle at the prayer vestibule in Saint Patricks when comparing to offshore. So I find that "thinking" a little tilted. Your Oakland game today was just following the money, Greenbacks does it quite well I admit, that's all ya had to look at to get a win there. And it takes no brain, or in this case, orthopedic surgeon to figure out Cueto's comment about the AL. Actually, with a wild pitch, it might be a brain surgeon required.

Congratulations on your play. He pitched into the 8th inning and the games was tied 1-1 when he left. Reliever Strickland proved he not only cannot pitch but can't fight this week. You wrote he will easily get a raise. First of all i doubt he opts out as NO team is going to pay him more than 23+ million at age 32. When was the last time the Yankees signed big time free agent starting pitcher ... they've changed their philosophy on that.

Sure he pitched well, but hes still having an awful year to his standards. My write up also mentioned Lively has great stuff and giants have horrible batting numbersamd wont hit well in the game. Lively pitched 7 innings and they had 4 hits on him.

So you know the team ... 'he's not pitching well'. What team in their right mind is going to pay him anywhere close to what the Giants are paying him. Honestly, i think the Giants would be happy if he opts out.
