I dont post plays much, but I follow the Warriors pretty closely. I believe this is a great spot for them. I listen to a lot of local sports talk and player interviews. I have 3 points to make why I think Warriors will cover and win outright.
1. There is a lot of expecations this year for the warriors to Win and go far. If they do anything short of Western Conference finals, they are considered a disapoitment. (Granted this is from local media and ownership). ALready theres a bunch of grumbling about whether Mark Jackson is the right coach. Yet, facts show he has turned around this franchise. With that said, they NEED to make a statement and have "arguably" the best Eastern team tonite. More importantly, heard an interview with Bogut and David Lee where they basically said they were looking ahead on this roadtrip looking at Indy. This could be why they fumbled the game away couple days ago to Toronto.
2. Public perception is Warriors are fatigued from this 6 game road trip. Look more deeply on this road trip and they schedulers actually spread the games out nicely. There only back to back comes tomorrow so they have not had one yet on this trip. Also, Warriors play quite well on the road. Last year (same squad) on a similar 6 game road trip they beat Heat straight up. This year, they are 18-14 on the road with some close beats. Ergo, they win on the road.
3. Indiana has not been playing well since the Allstar break. You would think on the contrary because they are 6-1 since the break. BUT, if you look closely they are 1-6 ATS in those games. Who did they play?? Good teams?? NOPE! Those teams were Atlanta, Minni, Milwaukee, Lakers, Milwaukee again, Boston and Utah. Against those teams they went 1-6 ATS. Since they got Turner, they have been messing around alot with their lineup and rotations. They ahve not found rythem and their defense has been poor.
Id like to hear what others think. My average game is $100 a game. Im playing Warriors +5 for $500 and sprinkling $50 on moneyline. What do you all think?
