Raptors + 1250 @ Nets - 1600

well of course I do not think that the raptors will win this game, however let us look at the math for a second...

in order to make a tidy profit betting at +1250 you would only need to win 8% of your bets...Now...do the raptors have more or less than an 8% chance of winning this game....I would argue they have at least a 15% chance to win straight up...even without their leader...they have been giant killers in the past without their stars...possible let down game by NJ...when looking at it from the math angle I feel it is a strong play....

woops...thought I was in the NBA forum (please be easy on me wil...lol...)....to put a twist on this thread...let me ask...do any of you guys use mathematical probabilities as the primary method for your handicapping

I agreed with you taking the Raptors since this is a payback game for them and the Nets are due for a let down. I would put heavy on the Nets if Sportingbet/sportsbook reactivate my account by then.
