If you were with me last weekend, you were 3-0. I'm having a HECK of a college season so far....go back and check my prior posts. Here's what we had last weekend....posted right here on the RX.

Michigan State/OSU Over 41.5

Michigan State will have a hard time stopping Pryor, and I see at least one defensive TD for the Buckeyes here. MSU can put up points themselves, and although they key in on the run, I see this game going north of the total. WINNER

Connecticut +2.5 vs. Rutgers
Rutgers Qb looking like a letdown early on......a dissappointing season so far will get worse. I see Uconn winning outright. WINNER

Miami -3 at Duke
Statement game for the Canes. The young bunch has a lot to improve on, but I see them stepping up for this game today. WINNER

Michigan State -4 vs. Michigan - BITTER rivalry.

Alabama -4.5 vs. Tennessee - an SEC Classic.

Miami -2 vs. Wake Forest - The U homecoming game.

May be a couple others but I have early leans on all three of those games.

Here are the picks and write-ups for each. I'm not really a write-up guy, so they will be short and concise....

Michigan State -4 vs. Michigan.
Michigan State is has lost six straight to the Wolverines, and this streak WILL end this year. Michigian is downright awful this year, and look for the Spartans to rebound from their blowout loss courtesy of The Ohio State University. Expect a heavy dose of Javon Ringer early to set the tone. State should be favored by 10 here, and even in the Big House, where Mike Hart's words from last year linger, State rolls by 10+.

Prediction: Michigan State 27 - Michigan 10.
Pick: Michigan State -4.

Miami - 2 vs. Wake Forest
Miami comes back to Dolphin Stadium after a lot of late scoring helped them roll Duke in what was a close game for 3 quarters. Jacory Harris, the local QB from Miami Northwestern and already a fan favorite, guided the Canes from a 17-7 deficit in replacing Robert Marve, and put up 5 TD's in the second half alone. Marve gets the start, per head coach Randy Shannon, but expect a lot of Jacory Harris. I wouldnt be surprised if he plays more then Marve, especially if Marve fails to get points early. Harris has certainly been the more productive QB, and I see him doing some damage to the Wake Forest D. The Canes are running the ball better then they have in years, which isn't saying much given their last couple seasons, but Miami is also playing its homecoming game here. Canes get the win and the cover.

Prediction: Miami 21 - Wake Forest 17
Pick: Miami -2

Alabama -4.5 vs. Tennessee
Not a lot to write about here, as its an SEC game, and typically they are low scoring, defensive affairs. I just don't see how Nick Saban's team loses this one with its BCS picture looking great. Bama wins this one.

Prediction: Alabama 20 - 13
Pick: Alabama -4.5

Hey Spanky!!!!

No official release on that game. I love Penn State's team this year, I really do. BUT, if I were betting, I'm taking Tressel's crew as a home dog.

Regarding the Spank Guarantee.....I can't issue one, you know that. BUT, if you want my strongest pick, I listed them in order of strongest to weakest, so take Michigan State if you are taking one game.

I'm going against my norm taking three faves this week, but those are my gut picks and I know the teams involved very well.
