He`d rather stay in Texas and hit meaningless home runs....This guy is a classic case of the modern ME ME ball player...Only caring about his numbers and could care less about a ring...

He may have 500 + homers but most have been rather meaningless

the time Raffy was in the playoffs , he layed the big egg for Baltimore....

I can only imagine he`d rather sleep in his own bed every night, its not like he`d have trouble at friendly Wrigley

Why isn`t Oakland looking for a big bat, the A`s could be a serious contender witha Juan Gone , or a Raffy caliber bat...

Come on Oakland make run here..Where would the A`s be if they could have afforded their home grown players?

I think Oak is cash strapped ... first they let Giambi do, now Tejada is about to leave.

I guess they figure as long as the rotation is in tact they've still got a shot

yeah its a damn shame..Tejada will be next to go, this is why baseball is a joke....Giambi should have been an A`s player for 15 years, Tejada too.... Only a matter of time before they are looking up from the bottom...They will lose the staff eventually too...

I doubt it, I hear locally Baltimore will make a serious run at him...The Orioles are not that far away believe it or not! If the owner would just leave,lol...A young nucleous and finally free of the Albert Belle salary!

Baltimore with 1-2 key players and they could be a wild card contender....
