If it wasn’t for Lundqvist and Smith this game should be around 2-2 right now.


If Zerdev played with the same effort, passion, and sacrifice he showed in the first he’d still be playing for Hitchcock.


I know it’s the first period of the first game but both teams need to work on their transition game.


Not much has changed for Reden. He’s still tremendous. A tremendous defensive liability.


Tampa bay will be a great team to bet the over with this year. They’ll score plenty and give up more.

Agree, both goaltenders have made this a low scoring game. No surprise w/Lundvist. 12 shoutouts last season.

The forcheck game Melrose wants to play is suited for his front lines but not for his backend. Smith will be left hung out to dry on numerous occasions early on.
