Rampage out at UFC 98, Machida in

Evans and Machida is gonna pit 14-0 vs 13-0-1. Gonna be a fun matchup and good to see Machida finally get his title shot. What is the line on this fight gonna be?

All you MMA/UFC experts out there weigh in...


I'm thinking close to PK, I'll say Evans -125...Although I think this is a tough line to predict.

Rampage said he has ligament damage in his jaw from a sparring partner. Also says it happened before the Silva fight. Sounds fishy to me.

Whatever the case, why would he wanna fight Evans in late May? Thats 3 high-level fights in 5 months. Its better for him and for the UFC for Machida and Evans to go at it, then give him the winner in August or Sept....Best case scenario.

Got any opinion on the line? Your guess is probably better than mine, I just know I wanna bet Machida so he'll probably be favored. Usually I nail UFC lines pretty easily but I'm really curious where they are gonna go with this 1...

I'm going to be in LV that weekend (5/23) and I want to get tickets, but not sure what the best way to get them is. StubHub seems expensive, I'd assume the value of tickets would go down slightly with Rampage not being in the main event and Machida in it instead. We'll see............Whats the best way to get tix? EBay? Stubhub just seems so overpriced and non-negotiable..

havent seen odds out yet but someone in mma forum posted machida at -175. 5dimes doesn't have it listed nor do i know the posters source. doesn't seem right imo. if machida is favored i'll probably be looking at the fight going the 5 rd distance. i really can see one hell of a boring and unentertaining fight here with both styles.
