if you're reading this will you please hire Buddy Ryan. Somebody needs to clock that ass clown Gilbride in the chops again.

The Bills O-line is amongst the worst and Bledsoe is not mobile ..

so (just this once) can you stop fuking calling a 5 wide spread formation and leaving choke boy Bledsoe as the sacrificial lamb?

That would be great.

Thanks in advance.

I thought Bledsoe did a nice job to get the Bills in a position to tie the game. The 2 point conversion could easily have been a completion, as it was, the refs had to review the play. On the other hand, I have never been a Kevin Gilbride fan either. Look at it this way, the Bills may have lost the game, but they got the money.

Will,
He did well on the last drive, but only had 88 years before that. I think the biggest problem is the o-line .. they are a poor group and without a mobile QB and a healthy Moulds it gets magnified in the passing game.

Lander, you admit the line sucks, yet you want Winslow or a QB in the draft??? Everyone knows the Bills OL sucks and that is what they need without a doubt, Bledsoe has always gone to crap when he didn't get supreme protection because Warren Sapp is more athletic than he is. The Bills are playing a lot better and you have a new coach to look forward to, so look on the bright side of things

Bill,
I think Winslow would help as much as a quality lineman would .. and I say this because without Mould at 100% the Bills lack true go to guy, particulary a hot receiver type.

I think Winslow can be that type of player ... and it only takes getting beat a few times on the hot routes for a D-Coordinator to re-think the all out blitz schemes that Bledsoe has been facing.

On the other hand, TE's usually take a few years to develop ... but Winslow strikes me as one of those rare players that can gel right away.

TEs will never be worth it if the line isn't getting it done. He will end up spending a lot of his energies just helping protect and run block. Winslow is a great player, but I don't think he is any better than Shockey was. Good TEs are a great weapon to have, but a guy that is a couple notches below can still be an effective weapon if used well in the scheme. The Bills most definitely need line help, without it Henry or whoever is the starter next year will continue to be mediocre and without the play action Bledsoe will be on his ass all next year as well.

Unless you can grab a primetime O Lineman in the draft, I think its easier filling those spots via free agency...

Honestly, I'd be very happy with a OL. Excelt for Mike Williams I think that they are all below average - even the extremely over-rated Pro-Bowler Ruben Brown.

They're close though .. another WR/TE, a decent lineman or two would have made all the difference.

I wonder if they'd trade Henry to address the recieving needs? And then draft OL and a DE?

Another team that I think is ooooooooooh so close are those Broncos.

I'm really starting to hate the cap because every one of us knows that our team could turn into the Raiders in one bad offseason. It makes it hard to buy into "looking ahead".

lol. Funny you should say that Will - since I moved to NYC I started following the Giants a bit and grew fond of Fassell's coaching ways ..

apparently the rest of the city doesn't feel the same way.

I'm always a Bills fan first, but I pull for the GMen ... but NEVER in a zillion years will I be a traitorous J-E-T-S fan. Never.

The Broncos play to the situation, they do great when facing a top team and they fall flat when facing a game they should easily win. Thing is Shanahan fully expects it and can't get the boys focused. I don't get it, this Cleveland game looked ridiculously dangerous to me squeezed in between the KC game and then the big 2 game road trip to end it. The team isn't deep enough to have a good season without having luck with the injuries as this season has proven. That is the ultimate reason why the salary cap has changed the game, no one can stockpile depth so they just have to have things go right to win.
