How does this work ? Let's say it's 30% back, and a 10 handed game. rake hits $3, so 90 cents is due somewhere. Does pot winner get it ? Is it split amoungst all ten players, or what ? Do you get any of it if you folded pre-flop and weren't a blind ?

My understanding is as follows:

10 handed $3 rake. You are responsible for 30 cents of that rake irrespective of whether you play or fold your hand. 30% rakeback gives you 9 cents from that hand.

Yes that is consistant with the programs I am in. As long as you are dealt in you are eligible that hand. Doesn't matter if you call, raise or fold with it.....

Thanks. I've played at SIA, Canbet, and mostly Partypoker. I'm looking for another where I can get rake-back, maybe Pokerstars. Any suggestions ?

I know about rakeback.com. What sites do you like, since I apparently can't get rakeback at PP.

I also use www.paidpoker.co.uk and a few others for the rake if you are interested. If you are asking about the actual places to play then tell us what limits you like to play.

Mostly 2/4, 3/6, some 5/10, occasional 10/20. I like 3/6 with 1/3 blinds, but go up and down from there. I'll play wherever the game looks nice.

You get 30% of the rake that you have included into the pot. If you play a lot of poker- 25-50 hrs a week. . . ITS A MUST to have.

I am not endorsing any particular rakeback program, but when I chose mine, this site was especially helpful with reviews, a forum, etc.

Keep in mind if you already have a PP account, you wont be able to sign up for rakeback. Although what I did was to sign up a new account at Empire (a PP skin) and play there instead.

I think I get 28%.

I would suggest signing up with eurobet for rakeback. empire seems to be doing its own thing these days and may leave the PP network.

Either way, rakeback is a must. You can make thousands a year over and above what you make at the tables.

What do u do if you already set up your account somewhere without rake back. I really like playing at fulltilt but never set this up.

Does this mean I have to play somewhere else? Or can I just create a new screen name with different info...
