Funny story from watching the 2nd half at a bar.
I have not played a NBA game since the 2000 Western Conference Finals. (Yes I had Blazers on money line & to win NBA title)
Guy next to me at bar is on the under, cocking off how it was a lock. Well he was correct except for 4 minutes during 4th quarter.
Under was the play - he got fucked.
That is why to this day I think the sport & league is total garbage.

I'm glad he lost for betting on that shit sport.

All totals are primarily bets for degenerates who just can't go without a play. So many completely ignorant circumstances enter in on the totals.

If you don't know shit ..... and just want to take a shot..... play the total!

Totally disagree....totals are the best thing to bet on. The reason is that you can have more than one thing not go your way in the game and still win. Rarely does it come down to the last shot of the game that if it goes in you win and if doesn't you lose. This scenario happens much more commonly on a side bet.

I did have Golden State Under last night and I think 21 points were scored in the last two minutes of the game....which is not the norm.

The other reason that validates my point that totals are the weaker of the two (sides or totals) thus easier to beat......a sportsbook allow larger bets on the side.

Dumbest thing I've ever heard... When you bet sports you look for an angle. If that is the play that you can exploit then that is the play... If the side is what you think is off then there you go, play the side. Likewise with the total... Just look at the good cappers on this site, most play both depending on what they think will win.:103631605

Is there a rule that says teams can`t score mega points in the last 2 minutes of a game?

You`re just making excuses for being on the wrong side.

When people cry BAD BEAT and MOOSE.....Those are cop-out terms for being on the wrong side....PERIOD!

should post plays more often. Saw the thread you made a couple months ago on how you come up with your plays and was intrigued.

Are you a fucking idiot?

Where does he say they can't?? He said its not the norm.

And you know what, genius? It isn't. 21 points the last 1:41 isn't normal. Happened to me in the Milwaukee game.

Wrong side? They scored 65 points in the 4Q. I already posted the Suns' recent scoring performances. It wasn't the wrong side. Only an idiot square like you would think otherwise.

8294 posts in less than a year, do you have to enter every fucking thread and say something stupid? Just STFU for a change.

Total BS !!!! What in the name of Michael Jordan are "completely ignorant circumstances" ???!!! ... and wouldn't those same circumstances influence a SIDE play ????

Sides and Totals are just numerical representations based on team's average performances ... neither is inherently smarter than the other ... it is clear the poster has some inflated opinion of their self and their preference for side plays ...

Damnhook says "That is why to this day I think the sport & league is total garbage."

I have never watched more NBA in my life than I have this season ... the more I watch the more I have to agree with this sentiment ... there is such scant intelligence involved with this sport it is appalling ... strategy doesn't exist, game plans don't exist, game management does not exist, clock management does not exist ...

I will be watching the playoffs just as closely to see if any of this changes - but I won't be holding my breath ...

There is a cliche that says you need only watch the last two minutes of an NBA game ... and it is a cliche because it is totally TRUE ...

First of all I wasn't crying about a loss.....where did I even once complain you douche bag. I just stated a fact. Which by the way is accurate. NBA games this year are averaging 4.167 points per minute........So I would say 21 in 2 minutes is a significant change from the norm.

In regards to right side wrong side of a game......I would say betting the under in that game was the right side. The results were the wrong side. If you had bet the over and I had asked you with two minutes to go that you could surrender your bet and only lose 1/2 half of it.....you would have been a complete absolute idiot to not take that offer. That is how you could tell if you had the right side or the wrong side of a game. Does the right side always win no but I just wish every game I handicapped I had the right side because I will win more times than I would lose.

Now in regards to a side or football for example where there are key numbers. One play can easily change a winner to a loser.
