Damn, I missed that...I would have liked to have seen that, but I have been busy watching TVG.

It's pretty hard to do without having either some psych disorder or SIADH (syndrome of inappropriate ADH anti-diuretic hormone). Ever go out golfing in the summer and sweat profusely and drink a lot of water? First thing when you get home is you want to eat a whole bag of chips or pretzels, ie. something salty!

it would take a lot. i think you could drink a gallon a day and be in great shape. you'd have to piss constantly but...thats the point.

Yea its got to be a ton..i drink 2-3 32 oz Gatorade's a day and thats not all that much when your active....then there's my 4-5 Coke's a day with meals

I just got off the phone with him he is doing excellent. its really amazing, he told me its like a miracle happened. UNBELIEVEABLE...

Thats too much, you need to cut it in half and if you drink beer too,you need to even cut more back.

Blue, that was his main problem he was pissing too much, he was deluting all the potasium, sodium and the rest of the vitamins. He told the DR. he was using the bathroom 20-25 times aday, and thats when the DR. told him he was deluting everything.

That may be why 'at times' you can be irritable...just a hunch

HOLY HELL '20-25 times a day" Jeez, I remember when i was taking alot of vitamins and would have to urinate 2 times during sleep and that drove me nuts, i thought it was the prostate going crazy...then i quit the vitamins and that was the end of it....I would go mad peeing that often

I was wrong it was 15-20 times a day, still thats alot.

I am sitting here thinking about all the different foods I eat that has water in it not counting all the BEVERAGES. It is really something to think about, no doubt in my mind that its all true.

It depends on conditions. A gallon in 8 hours working outdoors in LV isn't excessive.

Holy Chit, Where can I read more about the effects of drinking too much water. I drink over a gallon/day everyday. I always thought the more, the better....staying hydrated and all that. And I drink beer too. I would like to know if what you say has been proven... cause if it has, I gotta change what I'm doing.

If you eat only 3 big meals a day and drink a lot of water than maybe you have a problem. Remmember guys Gatorade has potassium and sodium and sugar which balances your body unlike water. You can drink 2 gallons of water if you eat 4-5 times a day. A normal person with good eating habbits consumes as much water as his body needs. Nore your fine with the water dude. If you eat 4-5 times a day... your doing a great job.. and doing that you will consume as much water as your body needs.

BOys I have not had a diet coke in 36 days.(all that diet coke dehydrated me and caused me to have a stroke.) MY urologist says you cant have too much water. all the protein diets and south beach diets cause kidney strones.

Exactly, JD...to prevent kidney stones, you need to drink lots of water.
If you drank nothing but water while dieting, you might have a problem with water intoxication. But if you eat normally, especially following your cravings, ie. like salty foods after sweating a lot, then the chances are more likely that you'd develop a kidney stone by being under-hydrated, than developing water intoxication by drinking too much water!
