Rain on the 4th of July sucks

Seems like it rains every July 4th here in Florida.

What other places does it do the same?

This is the first day in about a month it hasn't rained in the Boston area.

Yeah. That June was just horrific. Day after day after day of down pour.

Though, one good thing about rain is, I sleep better.

Here in Washington it's a heat wave.

Of course thats like a holiday in it's self for this region.

Add the fourth being on a Saturday and the grocery stores were a zoo Friday.

Doesn't take much in these parts,plus I live in a touristy area.

Cracks me up how people gravitate to these so called islands.

There are no palm trees and the beaches are rocks.

But I understand the camping fishing and boating.

And it is crabbing season also.
