People aren't mentioning Plummer's shoulder, its got to be pretty bad for him to have not been able to pass last week even if needed to return in that game.

Raiders know this and know that Portis will get the ball alot, never a good sign when your gameplan is obvious.

Also recall last year when Oakland went into Denver..everyone, including me, loved Denver in that game, Radiers had lost 4 in a row coming in and Gannon had his bets game ever, i think they look to do something similar to that tonight, pass all over the field.

Radiers are +4 1/2 now..i like this to be a FG game either way. Possibly more for Oakland, certainly no more than 3 for Denver, who have played the 2 worst teams in football so far, well not counting Chicago..

don't if anyone has noticed but the line looks as if it's dropping, there's 4½'s out there. Get 5 while you can.

News - from Yahoo ...

According to the Contra Costa Times, Sebastian Janikowski was arrested Saturday night after getting into a bar fight. Janikowski was arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor assault, misdemeanor vandalism, and being drunk in public after a fight broke out at Slates Supper Club. Several people told police officers that Janikowski, who was described by the police as "very intoxicated," had assaulted them. Janikowski is also suspected of breaking the mirrors off several cars parked near the restaurant. None of the alleged victims suffered serious injuries. Janikowski reportedly wasn't very cooperative with officers but did not resist arrest.

Oh, that lovable and cuddly Seabass. The CC Times did not report whether this incident will affect Seabass' status for tonight's game in Denver. However, he has not kicked well in the past amid controversy, so here's hoping you don't need much from him tonight. The PATs should be fine, but long! field goals could be extra adventurous.

I'm on the moneyline valueman. Regardless of line movement, this rivalry throws everything out the window. The line should be pk regardless of stats, injuries, and records.

Wow, that's a lot of support for the Raiders so far. I was considering OAK as well but am cooling on the idea.

Re the match-up and the ability for Gannon to excel again, consider this...

The loss of receiver Jerry Porter has made a big difference in how opponents can defend Jerry Rice and Tim Brown. Those two are dependent on Porter drawing attention deep. Obviously it’s easier to take away the short and intermediate routes when a team is not worried so much about getting beat deep. Oakland has averaged only 4.9 yards per pass play in two games this season after averaging 6.9 yppp last season. Denver is good defending the pass, allowing just 5.5 yppp last season (to teams that averaged 6.2 yppp on offense) and only 5.2 yppp this season.

Not trying to be snide here. I just don't know how much of a bargain the Raiders really are and the money is not calling for a 3 or 3.5 point game; which considering home-field would suggest the teams are essentially even.

I'll cheer for you guys from the sideline.

Raiders +7.5 with a local-lol.

...Forced the extra 1/2 out of him to take off a chunk of his one sided action.

sharp money is on Raiders and some got six

-4 will be a lousy play and 4.5 is pushing it.

Gannon carves up that Denver D like he did twice last year and the + points won't mean a thing..

i like denver. watching the raiders play this year...just not the same team. they were man-handled by tennessee and should have lost to the bengals.

the fact that everyone is on oakland makes me like denver even more.

good luck
