Yes, they love them so much that they have the 3rd lowest attendance in the league. Of course they have no one to blame but Al Davis. He got a coach in Jon Gruden that turned the franchise around. But unfortunately, like Jerry Jones, his ego wouldn't stand for Gruden getting the limelight. The result? Complete ineptitude since 2005 and getting their asses kicked in the Superbowl by the coach the let go of. I say don't let the backdoor hit you on the way out. The Raiders and LA deserve each other.

Nope. Ex-Raiders fan that said F 'em when they got rid of Gruden. After being a season ticket holder for many years and sitting through Art Shell, Mike White, etc., then seeing them finally get a good coach in, only to stupidly get rid of him, I was done with them. They are the stupidest organization in all of the NFL. And Al Davis' son is a moron. It's so much nicer watching all the games I want to watch and saving a considerable amount of money instead of ruining my Sundays driving all the way out to the Coliseum watching those douchebags. They should take a lesson from the Steelers who make a commitment to their coaches.

But I will add that my best sports memories of all time were watching Snake, Casper, Branch, Van Eeghen and Biletnikoff do their thing. It's a travesty Stabler isn't in the Hall of Fame, but he will be this year (he shouldn't have had to die to get in though)

Yes, because nothing says 'loyalty' like having to cover the whole upper deck of seats in your stadium with a big hefty bag because you can't sell enough seats to fill them...

Most loyal fans in the NFL? I would have to say that Packers fans are the most loyal.
1. They have no owner. They are owned by by the citizens of GB.
2. It takes years just to even get season tickets
3. They sit in frigid temps year in and year out to see there Pack play.
I dont think the Raiders have that problem

Mt. Davis lol. It so high up i dont know if it is safe to even sit up there. I did not say there wasnt any problems. The old multi sport coliseum is not ideal for sure.

Yep, the ol' nothing up my sleeves, cover up Mt. Davis trick. Works every time! LOL. Pathetic.

I remember when they first came back to Oakland. They charged $1,000 for the PSL for my section. They were run by the "Oakland Football Marketing Association" at that time. They told everyone if you wanted season tickets, you had to buy the PSL. But it was only good for 10 years (they added one year because they were still under construction their first year back). Mind you, for most NFL franchises, the PSLs are lifetime. When they realized they couldn't sell out on the season tickets (since they had some of the highest priced tickets at the time), they sold the season tickets without the PSL (most of us felt like the cartoon character that realizes they just got screwed and turned into a sucker). When they made it to the playoffs for the first time, I requested an extra pair of tickets. I was told there were none available and that I could only get my single season ticket (even though I knew people that only had season tickets with no PSL that were allowed to buy an extra pair). I was totally pissed off but then two days later, they accidentally sent me an additional pair that was intended for someone else. I called them and told them I was pleased they decided to give me an additional pair and asked who I needed to send the check to, to pay for them. They said I needed to return them as they were intended for someone else (they didn't have the technology at the time to simply deactivate the bar code). I told them I didn't appreciate what they pulled on me especially since I knew people without a PSL that did get additional seats and that I wasn't going to return them. They said if I would bring them back that they would give me an additional set (imagine that, lol).

If I recall, 2 years later was their Superbowl year. The OFMA failed to announce when tickets would go on sale for the AFC Championship game against the Titans. I just happened to call them and found out when they were selling them. When I got to their offices, there were a whopping four people in line with me. The lady asked me how many additional seats I wanted to buy. If I had had more money on me I would have bought 50. As it was, I only bought four. Between those and the other ones I bought from the other playoff games, I was able to recover all the money I spent on my PSL by scalping the tickets on EBay. But just to give you the mentality of your typical Raiders fan, I struck up a conversation with the guy in line next to me. I asked them if they asked him to renew his PSL (they were coming due in a couple of years), would he do it? He got this angry look on his face and said "OF COURSE" and "why would I ask him such a stupid question". I scratched my head at his stupidity since the Raiders weren't even selling out and you could get tickets pretty much anywhere in the stadium. Clearly you could avoid wasting money on pre-season tickets and maybe the one or two home duds that they normally had, and then buy post-season tickets (if they made it) with the savings. And of course, save the cost of a PSL. But that's the financial sense of a Raiders fan. And I assure you, he is much closer to the representation of the typical Raider fan than not. Blind allegiance to a failing organization. And of course, now they are probably leaving again. As stated, good riddance, and don't let the backdoor hit you on the way out.

Has the Bay Area Gay Community supported the Raiders over the years ? Rumor has it, they preferred the 49ers.

They are more into wine sipping and the niners for sure. By the way the niners being in santa clara is a joke. Perfect example of what a huge business these new billion dollar stadiums are. Super Bowl 50, Taylor Swift concerts, WWE events etc. The Niners are about money from events not fielding a good team.
