RACSA gone to shit

Anyone else notice that Internet connectivity (CableTica or Amnet via RACSA) has totally gone to shit? Seems better at my house than office (both CableTica) but could just be time of day.

this crap started on Monday I think, we were having an issue where one office couldnt reach one of our servers....and I could from my house

traceroute showed the same exact router path...yet from the office one was losing packets at some specific routers and from my house it was perfect

then today it went totally horrible from the office, for the heck of it I called amnet and unbelievably they admited that racsa was having some issues

connectivity still ok at home, I was getting ready to configure a proxy server in my house to use as a bypass....and then lost connectivity here too

via ICE is sort of ok from my house.....and from the office its horrible with 75% or more packet loss

in summary, its shit :lolBIG:

Duh! I have ICE at the house, not CableTica/RACSA, and it's been okay, at night anyway. RACSA sucks serious dogshit.

well in my case its the first incident I can even recall in the last two years, its probably by 'areas', where I am at.....Amnet/RACSA is much better than ICE's dsl

this incident though is pretty bizarre

Yeah, never miss it, they said the "area" was down...this has happened three times in under a year....ball lickers!!!

AMNET via RACSA sucks because of the two separate bills. Ask VD about forgetting to pay both.


What do people who have the WiMax think of it? I heard some have WiMax.

Anyone having trouble connecting with TheRx.com on occasion but all other websites are fine? I am and I know it is not the Rx that is causing the trouble because I immediately check with 2 or 3 other mods in the states to see if they are experiencing similar problems at the same time and the answer has always been no, the site is working fine. This just started this week. Happened this morning for about 15 minutes.

I am in the states now. I went to the RX in both Spain and Denmark the past couple weeks and had no problems. So Europe seems to be fine.

Wil, are you still in MA Costa Rica? Or did you move?

FWIW its STILL screwed up over there.......call yesterday at 8 pm from the office saying they couldn't connect

buddy of mine who has another office in that area has trouble connecting to a particular website, he called racsa, they dont know when it will be fixed..........hno:
