Former NBA star, Gilbert Arenas called Al Sharpton a “coon” in the wake of the Michael Brown shooting and pleaded with the family not to let Sharpton enter their lives as it will only make matters worse.

According to TMZ, Arenas let vented his frustration via Instagram, saying, “The stats also show AL coon sharpton has not helped one situation he has protested at, he actually made it worst and because of him the jury goes the other way."

Arenas also pleaded to Michael Brown’s family to eschew any help Sharpton has to offer. He said, "FAMILiES of the victims pleaseeeeee stop asking #alsharpton to speak or ur behalf,you have a better chance having #caesar the monkey from #planetoftheapes to get justice for you."

TMZ also writes that Arenas was not finished. He went even further, calling Sharpton a “THOT.” A “Thot” is another word for a “Ho.”

Arenas added, "#AL ur like a #THOT in the club, lookn for attention what u said at trayvons rally #enoughisenough ur right were tired of u PRETENDING."

So far, Sharpton has not responded.

Exactly, had that been a black cop and a white boy it would be a non-event. People die in Obama's hometown on a daily basis, no headlines there. Politics should not be be dragged into an isolated incident.
