Guys this is coming from a diehards Pats fan so I am not playing the game but you have to look at this:

NE-QB- Brady-OUT for season, RB-Maroney-OUT for season, RB-Jordan-DoubtfulNE-RB-Morris-OUT, S-Harrison-OUT.

Okay this means that we are starting Matt Cassel at QB, and FOURTH stringer BenJarvis at RB. Guys, this team should not be laying more than a TD to anyone, no not even the Rams. If the pats had not had the season they had last year do you really think they would be laying 7.5 right now?

Not touching this game, but I think Kevin Faulk and Heath Evans will see quite a few carries. Watson seems to be coming around in the short game as well. Do the Rams have anybody in their secondary that can cover Moss and Welker?

Don't think oddsmakers and handicappers have figured out this NE team. Spreads are all over the place from week to week.

Except for last game Morris had ran wildly, Pats mostly rely on short passing game to every on the field, so RB shortage won't be a diff., beside Pats wants an W this game (cover or not) before going to Indy next week and the leading Div. Buff. week after.

Rams are absolute misery on real grass, no Jackson and where the hell has the real T Holt gone. Even with the Pats in the shape their in right now still covers the big number at home.

I teased this down to -2 as I see us getting the Dub, but not necessarily the cover. Play was based on Stevie Jackson not playing.

Yes I do not anticipate the Patriots beating the Colts next week with our injuries.. it is always a tough game even WITH them, and losing rodney def hurts against an offense like that. For example, that Donnie Avery TD yesterday was a direct result of him not being in there. And FYI I do see the Colts winning and therefore covering in this game tonight.

How good is the INDY Pass defense? I heard the Pats should have technically beaten the Rams if you watched the games. MANY dropped passes and the ending--I cannot deny, is very fucking off-the-charts. Kneeling it out to punt? Come on. That's not the Bill I know.

There were uncharacteristic dropped balls, including Randy Moss in the endzone however that would still have been a tough catch and the coverage was good. I didnt think anything off the charts happened. As far as kneeing it to punt, it is just a completely different mentality with the team the Pats have right now. When you are down to your fourth string RB and have a backup QB who is going to be more prone to make mistakes, you kind of have to play more conservatively. If Bob Sanders is in there the Colts defense is improved against the pass and even more so against the run. I guess we will see tonight how active of a role he will have.

I don't think Sanders will be too large (he still will be regardless) of a factor tonight. If the Colts pull out a win, it'll be because of the Colts passing game waking up in this one.
