Quick Question for Any Texas Boosters - When Will Charlie Strong Get Fired?

He's simply not the man for the Texas head coaching job. He looks completely overwhelmed.

Was he hired solely because he's a minority? :think2: I would hate to think race was the controlling factor in his hire, but surely there must be better candidates out there than him.

I feel for all Texas alumni. Tonight's massacre at home by California is painful to watch. Wish you luck in the future.

I will say that he's shot himself in the foot to some extent because he's let so many kids walk from the program. My way or the highway does not work when you want to win. You can do that in the American conference but you can't do that in a P5 conference.

Unfortunately I'm hearing a lot of that stuff here in the forum lately. I'm by no means a UT fan, I'm an ASU alum but it's pretty sickening. No one talks about guys with less character like Bobby Petrino getting jobs. He's 0-3. I have CAL in the game and Texas is making me sweat big time. I thought this would be a CAL rout.
